Kim Kardashian Returns to Bleached Blonde Hair With a New Bob
Kim Kardashian, known for her signature long, jet-black hair, stepped out with a noticeably different look while leaving a dermatologist’s office in Beverly Hills on June 19.
She once again channeled Marilyn Monroe, opting for a platinum blonde bob that was presumed to be a wig. The cut fell below her jawline, styled in a soft side part with loose waves that gave the look a classic old Hollywood finish. She was styled by her longtime hairstylist, Iggy Rosales, who shared images of the look with the caption, “Platinum season.”

Kardashian paired the new hairstyle with a long trench coat worn as a dress, completing the look with bug-eye sunglasses, Gucci handbag and matching monogram Gucci heels. The overall ensemble was kept neutral, allowing the bold hair to be the centerpiece of the look.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has been experimenting with shorter styles. Last summer, she stepped out in a wavy black bob during the Balenciaga Haute Couture fall/winter 2025/2026 show at Paris Fashion Week, where the look still echoed old Hollywood glamour. A few months later, she debuted a pixie cut at the Maison Margiela womenswear spring/summer 2026 show, which had a shorter length at the back and a longer cut at the front, giving the illusion of bangs.

The last time she was seen in a blonde hairstyle was back in 2022 Met Gala, where she styled her hair in an all black bun. More recently, Kardashian had been seen wearing her signature long black hair during public outings, including appearances where she stepped out in support of her partner Lewis Hamilton. She was also spotted alongside her sister in a series of coordinated looks.

Taylor Swift Wears Her Favorite Gucci Platform Heels in New York City
Taylor Swift is currently topping the Billboard Hot 100 with her latest soundtrack, “I Knew It, I Knew It,” for the upcoming Toy Story project. While the track holds its spot on the chart, she was recently seen in New York City’s Greenwich Village, where she made her way into Electric Lady Studios, wearing her Gucci platform sandals.
The Gucci horsebit sandals featured the brand’s signature metal hardware placed across a thick front strap. They were designed with a chunky block heel and a rounded toe, giving them a bold and structured silhouette. The pair also includes an ankle strap for added support.

This is not the first time she has been seen in this pair of heels. She previously wore them to a dinner outing with Travis Kelce at the US Open in September 2024. Over the years, she has worn other Gucci horsebit styles, including maroon platforms, black slingback loafers, tall boots and low heels.
She paired the shoes with a two-tone polo from Guest in Residence, Gigi Hadid’s cashmere label. The top has a slightly cropped fit, with knitted finish, a ribbed collar and short sleeves. She matched it with a high-waisted light-wash jeans featuring visible seam detailing. The look was completed with a brown leather belt and a matching Chloé shoulder bag, keeping the tones coordinated with her footwear.

For accessories, she wore a selection of jewelry, including her Darlene De Sedle opal bracelet and Cartier Love Unlimited bracelet, alongside her engagement ring. Her makeup followed her signature style, with a natural base and a bold lip.

The Style Evolution of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
The Olsen twins have been in the public eye since a very young age. They became popular after playing Michelle Tanner on Full House, from there, they moved into film and television with appearances including Double, Double, Toil and Trouble (1993), Passport to Paris (1999), and New York Minute (2004), which marked their final film appearances. They also ventured into a clothing line at Walmart that introduced them to fashion.

As they moved into their teenage years, where they began making red carpet appearances in the early 2000s, their style began to shift slightly. The twins were often seen in trend-driven outfits such as layered pieces, and early Y2K-inspired looks. At this stage, their outfits were still coordinated but also showed signs of individuality, with each twin beginning to explore different styling choices.
In 2005, they launched their own brand The Row, a luxury fashion label created with the intention of designing the perfect T-shirt. In a past interview with i-D magazine, Ashley Olsen said back then, they had just moved to New York. “We were 18 years old and I think what we did know was that we wanted to take that time to take a break from what we were previously doing and to explore things that interested us.”
Mary-Kate also noted that, for them, luxury means “something that makes your life easier. The idea that you could buy something off the rack, put it on your body, and it already feels like a part of your wardrobe, that’s luxury.” She also explained that the reason they do fashion “is to constantly try to fix our imperfections.”

2015 Met Gala
By the late 2000s, their fashion identity became more prominent and intentional. Attending events like the Met Gala and award ceremonies, they were sometimes seen dressed in oversized coats, monochrome outfits, and sunglasses, leaning into a minimal aesthetic. Some of their red carpet appearances explored long flowing gowns in muted-toned.
Their approach to dressing continued to evolve with the seasons and trends. They adapted to what was current without losing their own direction or personal style. What defines their style is its gradual evolution.
In regard to their 40th birthday on June 13, take a look back at their evolving style over the years.
