YSL Brings Back Bold ’80s Glam with Oversized Earrings at SS26 Show
We can’t seem to get over the accessories worn at Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, especially the earrings. The models all had chandelier-style ornaments on their ears.
These earrings were crafted by jeweler Philippe Grand whose work tends to lean toward architectural designs. The pieces consist of large clusters color of gemstones, each framed in a silver web-like setting. At the end, teardrop-shaped gems were hanging. Each model had a distinct color: ranging from amber to a dark burgundy shade. All fitting into the collection’s palette.

The earrings at YSL SS26 were more than an accessory, they aligned with the show’s ‘80s-inspired theme. They also complemented the dramatic outfits and made the models look theatrical.

Their exaggerated size balanced the sharp tailoring and transparent fabrics seen throughout the runway. Other accessories, like large sunglasses and belts further elevated the collection’s appeal.

Back in the 1980s, this chandelier-style, bold earrings were a staple in high fashion. But in this present time, there has been switch in the fashion world, minimal jewelry like simple hoops or tiny studs took over.

Now, Anthony Vaccarello has decided to reintroduce bold accessories in YSL’s SS26 collection, and they still fit into today’s trend scene. These earrings may dominate Spring/Summer 2026 season.
No matter where they appear, on runways, or in street fashion, these statement earrings are back.

Zendaya has teamed up again with On, introducing a new chapter in their partnership. The team unveiled their first co-created collection that includes both footwear and apparel. This project marks a shift from earlier collaborations, with Zendaya involved in the design process.

But this recent release introduced a new silhouette, the Cloudnova Moon, alongside a matching clothing line. This collection focuses on combining technical sportswear elements with everyday styling, using clean silhouettes, different textures, and muted color choices.

In a press statement, the actress shared, “It’s been so much fun to collaborate with Law and the On team on these essentials, we wanted to create pieces that feel versatile and easy to wear, styles that move with you across different moments. We started with the idea of making people feel confident and effortless, and we built everything out from there. Working with Spike Jonze brought that vision to life in a really special way, the world he created gave it a whole new dimension.”

The campaign is supported by a short film by Academy Award-winning director Spike Jonze, highlighting the creative process behind the collaboration. Titled Shape of Dreams, the film presents Zendaya’s imagined design space, “The Dream Lab” where ideas evolve into final products through a staged visual progression. It was shot by photographer Sean Thomas.
The collection will be available in four colorways: Wolf Alloy, Dew Spruce, Fig, and Black Ink, set to be released on April 16, 2026, through On and selected retailers, both in-store and online.

Streep and Wintour are not interested in trading places in real life. Wintour dismissed the idea of acting, noting she has no skills for it and would struggle with tasks such as singing, dancing, or cooking. Streep, on the other hand, said she would not want to take on the responsibilities of running a large organization like Vogue, including managing its operations and editorial responsibilities.
Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of the fictional magazine Runway, was inspired by Wintour. The 2006 film was based on the 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger.

The feature arrives at a time when interest in “The Devil Wears Prada” has increased following news of the sequel. Streep’s role in the film remains one of the most referenced portrayals of a fashion editor in popular culture.
