Alexander Skarsgård Nails Purple Courtesy of Dior
Alexander Skarsgård chose an unconventional menswear direction while attending the “Pillion”screening in Berlin, Germany. Working with stylist Harry Lambert, the actor moved away from standard tailoring typically seen on red carpets, choosing a look that is beyond classic suiting, with a sleeveless design and bold use of color.
He appeared in a sleeveless purple top from Dior’s Men fall 2026 collection. The top had a deep V-neckline, finished with silver embroidery around the edges and neckline, along with a soft lilac insert. He paired it with black tailored trousers and square-toe dress shoes.

This shows the shift away from standard red carpet tailoring. Skarsgård has frequently embraced conventional silhouettes though his approach to dressing nods to the queer subcultures explored in the film. He continues to push typical styling choices.

He was joined on the red carpet by his co-star, Harry Melling, who played his submissive counterpart in the film. Melling wore a classic black suit, offering a contrast to Skarsgård’s styling. Pillion was directed by Harry Lighton, with Skarsgård playing a biker who begins an unconventional submissive relationship with a parking attendant.
