Zendaya Continues Her Bridal-Themed Press Tour With a Borrowed Armani Privé Gown

Zendaya shifted away from her usual white looks at the Rome premiere of her film “The Drama.” The actress who had been on a streak of white dresses since the beginning of the press tour, chose a different look by wearing a black Giorgio Armani Privé gown previously worn by Cate Blanchett.

Styled by her longtime stylist Law Roach, the black silk dress featured a plunging neckline, embellished with dark stones, though the outfit was dark, it still carried a bridal reference.

At the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Venice International Film Festival in 2025, Cate Blanchett had worn the exact same dress. Her stylist wrote on social media, “something borrowed,” thanking Blanchett for lending it from her archive.

In recent appearances, Zendaya has been wearing archival pieces, including a white Vivienne Westwood gown from 2015 she wore on March 17, presented as “something old.” For the Paris premiere, she appeared in a white Louis Vuitton dress, as “something new.”

She also changed her hairstyle. Instead of her usual neat side-part bob, this time it looked looser, with strands across her face. She paired it with diamond earrings and rings.

During an interview with The Guardian, Law Roach explained that early in Zendaya’s career, he would often dress her in outfits that other celebrities had worn on the red carpet. He did this so she could appear in “Who Wore It Better” features and gain visibility.

Now, years later, having become widely known, that idea returns. From something old to something new and now something borrowed, her looks follow a pattern.

Jennifer Lopez was seen in New York City wearing three different outfits in a single day, as she continued promoting her upcoming Netflix film “Office Romance.”

Her first outfit consisted of a nude beige blazer with a deep plunging neckline by Brunello Cucinelli. The blazer featured two large black buttons and was styled without a top underneath. She paired it with a white fringe skirt with loose fabric detailing and pointed-toe patent leather pumps in a brown shade. Her accessories included rectangular white-framed sunglasses, silver drop earrings, rings, and a crocodile leather handbag in a burgundy shade.

The second look took a more casual approach. She wore a high-neck sage bomber jacket by Auter, styled with black knee-length capri pants. The jacket had an oversized fit with extended sleeves, covering part of her hands. The actress completed the look with open-toe mule heels, a crocodile skin handbag,  different from the first, and black rectangular sunglasses. She was later seen joining her longtime manager Benny Medina for lunch.

Her final outfit included another Auter piece, a belted cashmere-silk dress in a light cream tone, paired with transparent heels and the burgundy crocodile bag from her first look. Accessories included silver jewelry and amber tinted sunglasses.

“Office Romance” is a romantic comedy directed by Ol Parker. In the movie, Jennifer Lopez plays Jackie, a strict CEO of a fictional airline who enforces a rule against workplace relationships but later becomes involved with Daniel, a co-worker played by Brett Goldstein. Jonathan Anderson presented his first Dior Cruise 2027 collection at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wednesday. He presented his vision through a cinematic show recreating an old Hollywood scene, with vintage streetlights, convertible cars, and a glass structure overlooking the Hollywood Hills.

The choice of location also points to Dior’s long-standing relationship with Hollywood, where the brand has maintained a presence through film, costume design, and decades of celebrity dressing on the red carpet.

The show gathered a number of film and music stars who were present at the front row to watch the French house’s creative director unveil his collection. They arrived dressed in Dior and took their seats beneath the new David Geffen Galleries.
