Ahead of the upcoming Mother’s Day celebrations, Rihanna offered a personal reflection on motherhood through a new tattoo inspired by her children.

The singer and entrepreneur recently revealed fresh ink designed from playful scribbles created by her children, sons RZA and Riot. Rather than preserving the colorful drawing as a keepsake on paper, Rihanna transformed the artwork into a permanent tattoo placed on the back of her thigh and lower leg.

The design was recreated by longtime tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy, who translated childlike drawing into black ink while preserving it’s freeform. The original artwork featured colorful marker scribbles and playful markings, which were adapted it into a more lasting form.

Videos shared from the tattoo session showed Rihanna in a relaxed setting as she underwent the process. Dressed casually in an oversized hoodie, she kept her look minimal for the appointment. Throughout the session, she appeared candid about the discomfort of getting tattooed while still embracing the sentimental significance behind the piece.

The reveal followed closely after Rihanna’s appearance at the 2026 Met Gala, where she and A$AP Rocky attended together in coordinated high-fashion looks. For the event, Rihanna wore a sculptural metallic Maison Margiela gown while Rocky complemented her appearance in a soft pink formal Chanel jacket.

Though Rihanna is known for making headlines with fashion and beauty moments, this latest tattoo showed a more personal side of her public image. With a tattoo collection that already spans decades, the new addition stands apart for its direct connection to her children and family life.

Kim Kardashian returned to Broadway on Tuesday night with Lewis Hamilton for a high-profile public outing.

Just one day after the 2026 Met Gala, where Kardashian attended alone, she joined Hamilton for a performance of The Fear of 13 at New York City’s James Earl Jones Theatre. The evening carried particular significance for Kardashian, who is part of the Broadway producing team behind the production. The play, based on the true story of Nick Yarris, follows the wrongful conviction and eventual exoneration of a man who spent years on death row, reflecting themes closely connected to Kardashian’s longstanding criminal justice advocacy.

Following an earlier visit to the production, Kardashian returned for a second viewing alongside Hamilton, purchasing tickets for the evening rather than relying solely on producer access.

For the outing, Kardashian wore an archival Jean Paul Gaultier couture. It featured an icy blue structured corset top with bondage-inspired detailing, sculpted construction, and fitted sleeves. She paired it with high-waisted light-wash barrel-leg jeans. Metallic silver heels completed the look.

Hamilton wore a thistle-toned Louis Vuitton tracksuit paired with maroon Remix Combat boots.

After the performance, Kardashian and Hamilton were photographed leaving the theatre hand-in-hand before heading to a waiting black SUV. The Broadway appearance also shifted conversation following Hamilton’s absence from the Met Gala the night before, where many had anticipated a joint appearance.

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have welcomed another child. The couple announced the birth of their third child, a son named Nautas Madden, in a post shared to Instagram by Madden on Monday, May 4.

Madden revealed the news alongside a nautical-themed illustration of a pirate ship captioned “Nautas Madden.” “Cameron and I are happy, excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world, son!!” he wrote.

The post also included drawings of a cardinal and a potted plant, references to the names of the couple’s older children. “Having a blast. Sending all our best wishes, the Madden Family,” Madden added, noting that “our kids are healthy & happy, and we are grateful.”

Diaz and Madden are also parents to daughter Raddix Wildflower and son Cardinal. The couple has kept their children out of the public eye, choosing not to post photos or speak about them in interviews.

The birth of Cardinal in 2024 was described as a significant moment for the couple. “They were always hoping for a second baby because they love being parents,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “For years, Cameron wanted to be a mom. She gets very emotional when she talks about the long journey to motherhood. She feels beyond lucky to now have two children.”

Although Diaz keeps her family life largely private, she has spoken about motherhood and her decision to have children later in life. During a March 2022 appearance on BBC Radio 2, she acknowledged the age gap between herself and many new mothers. “The women who have children my age are like, literally 20 years younger and that’s an interesting place to be because I’m not that age,” Diaz said. “And that’s totally OK. But I want to feel vital like that for my child.”

In an October 2020 interview with Naomi Campbell, she addressed the commitment with characteristic humor: “When you’re my age and you decide to do it, it’s a real choice. You really have to work hard for it. The only pressure for me is like I have to live to be, like 107, you know? So no pressure.”  Diaz and Madden married in January 2015, Diaz stepped back from acting to focus on family and business ventures.
