Hailey Bieber Brings Rhode Beauty to Sephora Across the U.S. and Canada

Hailey Bieber, having already turned her Rhode beauty brand into a billion-dollar venture, just hit a new milestone, making her skincare and makeup line available in Sephora stores across the U.S. and Canada. The debut took place on September 4, 2025, when Bieber marked the occasion with a Times Square curtain-drop event.

It wasn’t just her business savvy that grabbed attention that day. The 28-year-old mogul leaned into timeless style, arriving at the largest Sephora in the U.S. clad in a silver Donna Karan ensemble from Spring 1996.

Instead of choosing a trendy L.A. boutique, Bieber chose Times Square at Seventh Avenue and 41st Street, the biggest Sephora store in the U.S. The crowd’s excitement was high, with many already out at 9:00 a.m. to show their love, support, and pose in the branded pink photo booth. Surrounded by oversized Rhode products, Bieber  turned a brand rollout into an immersive show.

Her love for minimalist fashion was also evident through her looks, from a vintage silver dress to a yellow leather jacket layered over lace, and a relaxed white tee with black pants. Each look echoed her effortless blend of CEO polish and off-duty supermodel cool.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the business move could not be ignored. What started in 2022 as a direct-to-consumer line with just three products has exploded into a 16-piece collection now stocked in Sephora. Rhode has become Sephora’s biggest skincare launch in North America, a testament to Bieber’s vision, and strategic execution.

“My goal since day one has been to bring Rhode to as many people as possible, however they prefer to shop, whether that’s online or in-person,” said Hailey, who is Founder, Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation of Rhode, and Strategic Advisor to e.l.f. Beauty. “Sephora, with its global footprint, was the perfect partner to help bring my vision to life.”

The strategy paid off quickly. Products like the Peptide Lip Tint, Pocket Blush, Glazing Milk, Glazing Mist, and Barrier Restore Cream, which were exclusively sold on the internet through the brand’s own site, are now front and center on beauty shelves. This marks the brand’s first expansion into the retail market.

Looking ahead, beyond the U.S. and Canada, there are plans for the products to be available at Sephora UK this fall. By merging commerce with performance, Hailey Bieber has turned a beauty brand debut into a full-blown spectacle and moved the game forward. Rhode is no longer just skincare; it is now part of the beauty mainstream, visible, tactile, and poised to glow in every shopping cart it lands in.

Italian Fashion Designer Giorgio Armani Dies at 91

Published

on

Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, one of the most influential figures in modern fashion, has died at the age of 91. The news was confirmed by his company on Thursday, stating he passed away “surrounded by his loved ones.”

In its official statement, the Armani Group said:

“With infinite sorrow, the Armani Group announces the passing of its creator, founder, and tireless driving force: Giorgio Armani.”

The announcement was first reported by France 24, which noted that Armani’s fashion house would set up a funeral chamber in Milan on Saturday and Sunday, followed by a private funeral at a later date.

Born in Piacenza in 1934, Armani started out in medicine before moving into window dressing and eventually fashion design. In 1975, he co-founded his namesake label, selling his Volkswagen Beetle to raise the funds. What began as a small venture grew into one of the most powerful fashion empires in the world, spanning couture, ready-to-wear, perfumes, hotels, and interior design.

He was known for pioneering unstructured tailoring, a style that stripped away stiffness and redefined power dressing in the 1980s. Armani’s designs became synonymous with understated luxury, worn by Hollywood stars, business leaders, and royalty alike. By 2025, the Armani Group was generating an annual turnover of more than €2.3 billion ($2.7 billion), making it one of Italy’s most successful fashion houses.

Armani’s health had been declining in recent months. In June, he missed Milan Men’s Fashion Week—marking the first time in his decades-long career that he was absent from a catwalk show. His absence was widely seen as a sign of his struggles, given his reputation for personally overseeing every aspect of his business, from advertising campaigns to the final touches on a runway collection.

In Italy, Armani was affectionately known as Re Giorgio (King Giorgio). Unlike many designers who later stepped back from the spotlight, Armani remained at the heart of his company until the end. His eye for detail and insistence on perfection set him apart, shaping a brand that balanced creativity with strong business acumen.

The company confirmed that a funeral chamber will be open to the public in Milan over the weekend, allowing admirers and industry figures to pay their respects. A private family funeral will follow at a later date. Giorgio Armani leaves behind not just a global fashion empire, but also a legacy that reshaped how the world understands elegance, discipline, and Italian style.
