One photograph shows her seated on a grand piano in loose-cut denim, her hair falling forward across her chest. Another frame captures her reclining near a pool, a book resting across her torso. Elsewhere, she appears in straight jeans and in others wearing black underwear pieces from the brand’s Ultralight line.

The campaign continues Calvin Klein’s signature campaign style: minimal styling, loose-fit denim shapes, and close shots that focus on the body and fabric. The collection includes ’90s-inspired jeans alongside lightweight underwear designed for everyday wear.

Johnson’s campaign marks her first with Calvin Klein. In campaign materials, she said the shoot focused on comfort.
Captioned over the images, one quote simply reads: “She’s so… wild.”

Speaking about the brand partnership with ELLE, she was asked what made her say yes to the collaboration, saying:

“Working with Calvin at this moment feels very symbiotic with where I am currently in my life… I’m at a place in my womanhood where I feel quite calm and centered. I spend a lot of time at home, I feel very comfortable in my body… Doing the denim and underwear campaign in the tone of very laid-back sensuality felt like it’s just a sort of truth of where I’m at right now.”

On how she sees sexiness evolve with age, she went on:

“I think the sexiest clothing items are the ones that make you feel good in your body… Feeling good in clothes changes your energy and physicality. Sometimes being in a big ratty T-shirt is the sexiest thing in the world…”

Dakota has previously shared that her self-care routine is central to how she feels and looks, with rest and baths playing a key role in maintaining her well-being.

Founder and creative director Tremaine Emory taps Lauryn Hill to front Denim Tears’s latest Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, marking a new installment in the brand’s ongoing in-house denim project. The shoot places Hill in a black-and-white denim design and it’s cultural roots.

Photo: Instagram

Shot by Liam MacRae and Justin Sarinana, the campaign frames Hill against a school-style backdrop. She appears in layered denim piece featuring Denim Tears’s signature embroidered cotton wreath motif placed closely across the fabric so the pattern becomes part of the outfit and not just a detail. The styling is completed with denim accessories, wide clear-framed sunglasses, and stacked bangle jewelry.

Hill’s look centers on layered denim construction, with the embroidered detailing positioned within the outfit. Visible stitching and surface texture are highlighted through the monochrome photography, allowing the texture of the jeanswear to remain the main point.

The campaign continues Denim Tears’s approach under Emory, where clothing is used as a medium to reference cultural history through design and material execution.

She appears with her children Selah Marley, YG Marley, Sara Marley, and Johnny Cash showing different ways the same pieces can be worn.
