Love was definitely in the air as Anne Hathaway and Gigi Hadid reunited at the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York City.  It is a charity organization that provides meals to people living with illnesses such as cancer and HIV/AIDS. They celebrated their 19th annual edition at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

Before the event began, the longtime friends Anne Hathaway and Gigi Hadid both shared a sweet red carpet moment. They arrived smiling and posing together. Hadid was dressed in a bright yellow David Koma piece featuring a high neckline and a sash-like waistband adorned with a single flower design at the side.

Hathaway, on the other hand, chose an all-black look from Micheal Kors’s spring 2026 collection, a relaxed short-sleeve top tucked into a flowing asymmetric skirt and cinched at the waist with a leather belt.

The duo were captured during their playful interaction on the red carpet, Hadid taking up Hathaway’s hand and curtsying before her as they both laughed. This kind of carefree  gesture isn’t often seen at red carpet events, it was a really heartwarming sight.

Those gestures didn’t just end there, they carried it to the stage as Hadid presented  Hathaway with the award for Outstanding Philanthropy and Volunteerism. Before handing it, the model introduced her friend with a light speech saying, “As a longtime fan of Annie’s, the most beautiful thing of becoming her friend is knowing that the virtues and magic that make us feel connected to her onscreen are even more vivid in real life”.

After embracing each other, Hathaway took the mic and first gave a cheerful shoutout to Hadid’s boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, whose company, Danny & Coop’s, provided cheesesteaks for the event. She then followed with a speech about God’s Love We Deliver, and how she first encountered the organization.

The program continued, but the brief exchange between Hathaway and Hadid left one of the warmest impressions of the night.

Shakira has a long history of stadium performances, with past appearances for the FIFA World Cup and Super Bowl adding to her presence on major live stages. On June 11, she performed at the opening of 2026 FIFA World Cup ceremony in Mexico City Stadium, where she wore a custom Off-White piece.

Her outfit was styled by Italian Nicholas Bru and consisted of a fitted high-neck bodysuit in a yellow shade with cut-out detailing throughout the design. The look was paired with matching opera gloves in the same shade.

She wore it with an asymmetrical mini skirt created by Off-White, in a mix of lavender, white, and yellow jersey-inspired paneling. She added fishnet tights and white high-top sneakers from R13, designed with a basketball-inspired silhouette and lace-up detailing.

Shakira was joined on stage by Nigerian artist Burna Boy. They performed this year’s official World Cup song, “Día Día.”

With this appearance, she became the first and only artist to perform at four separate FIFA World Cups. Her previous appearance was in 2010, when she performed “Waka Waka” in a custom Roberto Cavalli set.

One noticeable detail across her performances is the coordination between her outfit and microphone. In 2010, her microphone carried a neon pink tone that matched her outfit, while in 2026 it appeared in a yellow finish that complemented her stage look.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup celebrations will continue across the remaining two host nations, Canada and the United States. The second host ceremony will take place in Canada on June 12, with performance from Alessia Cara, Katy Perry, Elyanna, and Tyla. The tournament concludes on July 19 in New Jersey.

Taylor Swift’s Toy Story 5 Premiere Look Included a Hidden Detail

While fans continue to speculate about her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the Toy Story 5 premiere on June 9 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The singer stepped onto the red carpet just days after releasing her new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which features on the film’s soundtrack.

For the occasion, Swift wore a look from the Erdem Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The off-the-shoulder corseted mini dress featured floral patchwork across the front, a raw hem, and a bow-tied detail on one sleeve. Crystal embellishments traced the upper bust and extended down the corset.

Her accessories included a horseshoe necklace, which she had worn back in April during an outing in New York. At that time, she had not yet announced her collaboration with the film. Now, it appears the necklace was an early teaser, linking back to Toy Story. The piece of jewelry connects to Jessie, the cowgirl character she wrote about in her track “I Knew It, I Knew You.”

When she first released the song on Friday, she explained what it felt like writing from the character’s point of view. She wrote, “This song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a Toy Story kid from age 5 till now, it’s an adventure I plan to be on to infinity and beyond.”

Following the release of the new single, the film’s director and screenwriter, Andrew Stanton, spoke about how the song fits with the film. “It’s incredible just how meaningful it’s been having Taylor write and perform this song. Her connection to Jessie and the immediate way she understood what the character was going through was undeniable. The song is so deeply connected to Toy Story. So much so that on first listen, it instantly felt like it had always belonged there, like a long-lost family member. It was kismet.”

On the first day of its release, Apple Music revealed that “I Knew It, I Knew You” became the biggest country single of 2026 and broke the record for the biggest soundtrack single based on first-day plays. On Spotify, it became “the most streamed country song in a single day by a female artist,” while Amazon Music reported it as “the biggest first 24-hour streaming debut globally for any song” in 2026.

Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters on June 19.
