Amal Clooney Wears Archival Alexander McQueen Gown at the King’s Trust
Amal Clooney arrived at The King’s Trust 50th anniversary celebration in London wearing an archival gold Alexander McQueen gown from the designer’s Fall 2007 collection, bringing fashion history to the Royal Albert Hall for one of the charity’s milestone events.

Joining George Clooney for the evening, the international human rights lawyer selected a floor-length column dress from McQueen’s “In Memory of Elizabeth Howe” collection. The gown featured sculpted gold sequins arranged in intricate geometric patterns throughout the design, creating a strong Art Deco influence. Its construction included cap sleeves, a plunging V-neckline, and a fitted shape. The metallic embellishment and detailing reflected the craftsmanship of the original runway design, which remains one of the notable eveningwear pieces from the collection.
She styled the gown with gold pointed-toe pumps, a matching metallic clutch and earrings. Her beauty look remained simple, with styled loose waves parted to the side and natural-toned makeup.

Originally presented during Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2007 runway, the dress formed part of a collection inspired by the Salem witch trials and dedicated to Elizabeth Howe. The gown has also maintained cultural significance beyond the runway, having previously been worn by Cameron Diaz at the premiere of Shrek the Third 2007.

George Clooney complemented the formal occasion in a navy suit paired with a crisp white shirt and dark tie.
Founded in 1976 by King Charles III, The King’s Trust has spent five decades supporting young people through education, employment, and business opportunities.
Dua Lipa was spotted at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport carrying a Chanel bag large enough to replace the usual airport carry-on.
The singer was photographed at JFK on Thursday, August 13, wearing a casual outfit that includes a black-and-white striped quarter-zip sweater, straight-leg blue jeans and black boots. She accessorised with angular sunglasses, simple hoop earrings and wired headphones.

Her Chanel bag was the standout piece. The oversized basket bag is made from raffia and features nautical navy, white and red stripes, sturdy black leather straps and large black interlocking Chanel Cs on the side.
The bag comes from Chanel’s Cruise 2027 collection, which was presented in Biarritz in April. The collection drew on the French Riviera and the fashion house’s seaside heritage, with the show featuring beach-inspired pieces and accessories including seashell jewellery, oversized straw baskets and swim caps.
Lipa’s bag appeared as Look 25 on the Chanel runway. For the show, it was paired with a loose linen buttoned tunic and matching shorts with multicoloured panels, finished with black-and-white striped glove heels.

The oversized accessory fits naturally into the singer’s recent holiday wardrobe, which has included Chanel looks alongside prairie dresses from Helsa and Dôen, peasant tops worn with bandanas, Tom Ford-era Gucci pieces, and bikinis from Oresee and Jacquemus. She has also spent time in Ibiza, Athens, Copenhagen, Rio and Italy this summer, including a trip around Italy with her husband, Callum Turner.
Lipa has since shifted some of her attention back to music. She has been spending time in New York recording new material at Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village, while also being spotted around the city, including riding Citi Bikes across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Her recent New York appearances have also included the premiere of One Night Only, the romantic comedy starring Turner, at the beginning of August. Before that, she attended the World Cup Finals in New Jersey, where she was photographed carrying another large Chanel bag.
Taylor Swift stepped out in London on August 12 for her first solo public appearance since marrying Travis Kelce, wearing a lilac floral minidress and a noticeably shorter hairstyle.
Swift was photographed leaving Annabel’s, the private members-only club, during a night out with a friend. The appearance came just over a month after she and Kelce married at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.
For the London outing, Swift wore a purple Delphine minidress that recalled her song “Lavender Haze.” The lilac A-line shift dress, which retails for $995, features a floral pattern, sweetheart neckline and delicate straps.

She paired the dress with a Christian Louboutin clutch covered in ombré crystals, priced at $7,495, and bedazzled stiletto sandals from Aquazzura, which retail for $1,710. She completed the look with her signature red lipstick.
Swift also appeared to have changed her hairstyle. Her dirty-blonde hair was noticeably shorter than in previous appearances, falling just past her collarbone while retaining her signature bangs.
Her engagement ring also remained on display. As Swift opened the door to Annabel’s, the 10-carat diamond ring was visible. The old mine-cut ring was designed by Kelce with jeweler Kindred Lubeck. Swift previously spoke about the ring during an October 2025 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, admitting that she still found herself looking at it and that it did not yet feel normal to her.

The appearance marked Swift’s first solo outing since the couple’s July wedding, although she had been photographed earlier in the month attending another wedding with Kelce. For that occasion, she wore a floor-length pink floral Markarian dress and accessorized with pieces from Crap Eyewear, Larkspur & Hawk and Cartier, along with her custom engagement ring.
Cardi B showed how two bright colors can work together. At Old Navy’s “Most Wanted Denim” launch in New York City, the rapper stepped out in a bold combination of yellow, blue and green.
She wore a yellow sweater buttoned all the way up, then layered a blue cardigan over it. Apart from the combination of the two bright shades, Cardi B also showed how to start bringing layers back into our outfits as the fall season approaches. The rapper paired the knit sweaters with dark indigo capri pants that fell just below the knee and featured small slits at the sides.

She completed the look with pointed-toe dark pumps, which gave the casual denim a more elevated look. Her accessories brought another color into the mix as she carried a green Chanel 25 bag, which matched her green manicure. The bag featured gold hardware and a chain strap, while her gold earrings and stacked bracelets tied in with the metallic details. Her long dark hair was styled straight with the ends curled in, while her makeup featured defined eyes and glossy neutral lips.
Cardi joined Old Navy Chief Creative Officer Zac Posen at the New York launch event for the brand’s “Most Wanted Denim” campaign, in which she stars wearing the Curvy Extra High-Waisted Cuffed Wide-Leg Jeans.

Speaking with InStyle earlier this month, Cardi described Old Navy as a “forever brand,” recalling that she used to wear the brand as a child and now buys clothes from it for her own children. She also praised the quality its jeans, saying “I bring my kids clothes from Old Navy all the time. It’s good quality clothes and good quality jeans. My daughter has really long legs, so they have jeans that fit her really nicely. I like the variation of jeans that Old Navy has.”
