Tyla has always been fearless when it comes to fashion, but her latest Paris Fashion Week appearance showed a new level of creativity. The singer caught attention when she stepped out wearing what appeared to be a daring snakeskin backless top, only for fans to later discover that the piece was, in fact, a temporary tattoo applied to her skin. She debuted the look while attending the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris. Social media reacted as the unconventional outfit showed how body art can be used in fashion

It went viral on Instagram and was discussed across social media. At first glance, it appeared to be a fitted mock neck shirt with snakeskin pattern textures and zipper details. However, designer Simon Carle revealed that the piece was created using temporary tattoo sheets.

According to Carle, the tattoo was designed as a single-use fashion piece meant to peel away like a snake shedding its skin, fitting the reptile theme behind the look.

Tyla wore the outfit during Paris Fashion Week. The singer paired the tattoo top with ultra low-rise jeans, and a snakeskin patterned handbag.

Temporary tattoos have appeared in fashion before, but rarely as the main garment itself. By turning body art into clothing, Tyla and Carle created a wearable fashion piece. The concept shows a growing trend in celebrity fashion where artists explore unconventional materials to create memorable moments.

The temporary tattoo top highlights how fashion is evolving. This single Instagram post by Tyla has sparked discussions about creativity and the future of fashion design. The snakeskin “top” shows fashion can be innovative without traditional fabrics.

Kim Kardashian Gives Bridal Couture a New Edge in Polka-Dot Gown

Kim Kardashian has brought bridal couture into her latest promotional wardrobe, wearing a black-and-white polka-dot gown by Galia Lahav while promoting All’s Fair in Rome. Styled by Law Roach, the design combines a sculpted corset, lace-trimmed cutouts and a sweeping skirt, offering an unconventional take on bridalwear.

Kardashian wore the gown on October 26, 2026, during a promotional appearance for the legal drama. The design comes from Galia Lahav’s Fall 2027 One of One collection, which debuted at New York Bridal Fashion Week on October 13, with the polka-dot creation serving as the show’s finale look.

The gown pairs an ivory base with black polka dots, a plunging sweetheart neckline and a structured strapless bodice. Scalloped lace frames the cutouts at the hips, while the fitted upper silhouette gives way to a voluminous skirt gathered at the front and extended into a floor-length train. Its combination of traditional bridal proportions and revealing details gives the design a distinctive place in Kardashian’s recent fashion appearances.

Law Roach kept the accessories understated, allowing the gown’s construction and print to take centre stage. Kardashian wore Jimmy Choo pumps beneath the skirt, with her footwear largely concealed by the fabric. Her hair was styled into a high ponytail by Dimitris Gianneto, while makeup artist Melissa Hurkman completed the look with defined lashes and glossy pink lips. Kardashian went without jewellery, keeping the focus on the dress.

The accompanying photographs added a playful detail to the appearance. Kardashian posed with two Dalmatians whose spotted coat matched the gown’s print. She captioned the images “Spotted in Rome.”

The look followed Kardashian’s appearance at the All’s Fair premiere on October 24, when she wore a vintage leopard-print gown from Saint Laurent’s Fall 1986 haute couture collection. The strapless design featured a fitted bodice and a dramatic mermaid skirt, accompanied by a coordinating shawl. While the Saint Laurent look drew on archival couture, the Galia Lahav gown brought a more recent runway design into her Rome wardrobe.

The two looks approached animal-inspired prints differently moving from leopard print to polka dots while maintaining a focus on distinctive silhouettes. Together, they also highlighted the range of fashion references in Kardashian’s recent collaboration with Roach.

Galia Lahav’s One of One collection draws inspiration from Old Hollywood figures Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn, alongside contemporary stars including Lady Gaga and the Kardashian family. The designer has created wedding looks for Simone Biles and Paris Hilton, while Beyoncé has worn her designs for a vow renewal with Jay-Z. Jennifer Lopez also wore a Galia Lahav creation in the 2023 film Shotgun Wedding.

Dua Lipa has been spending time in London, along with her husband, actor Callum Turner, who is reportedly among the finalists screen-testing for the next James Bond film. While the actor has been linked to the legendary role, Lipa has been busy with her own interests: books. The singer, who founded the Service95 Book Club, took her love of reading to the stage over the weekend as she hosted conversations at London’s Literature Festival.

On Saturday, October 24, Lipa joined acclaimed novelist Zadie Smith at the Royal Festival Hall to discuss Smith’s debut novel, White Teeth, including its portrayal of London and what it meant to publish such a celebrated book at the age of 24. Later that day, Lipa sat down with Sudanese-Canadian poet and musician Mustafa to discuss his 2025 poetry collection, Nour, and the poems and writers that have influenced them.

For her conversation with Smith, Lipa wore a red two-piece look from Chanel’s Fall 2026 collection. The outfit consisted of a long-sleeved top and a matching midi skirt, both with fur trim. She paired the look with black leather knee-high boots from Le Silla, featuring lace-up detailing and a 12-centimetre stiletto heel. The boots gave the red outfit a different feel from the matching set originally worn on the runway.

For her second conversation with Mustafa, Lipa changed into a look from Prada’s Fall 2026 collection. She wore a black nylon tank top and matching pencil skirt, with her bright pink bra straps visible beneath the top. She also wore sheer stockings embroidered with floral details near the ankles and white satin pumps with feather trim and lace-up detailing.

Ahead of the festival, Lipa spoke about what reading means to her, saying, “Reading has anchored me through every chapter of my life, from being the new kid at school in a new country to finding quiet refuge on tour.”

The London Literature Festival runs at the Southbank Centre through November 1, with poetry readings and author conversations. On Sunday, October 25, Lipa joined musician and writer Patti Smith for a conversation about Smith’s memoir, Bread of Angels.

Kate Middleton joined other members of the British royal family at Windsor Castle on October 20 for a state banquet honoring Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman. The Princess of Wales arrived alongside her husband, Prince William, wearing a yellow gown and a familiar royal heirloom once favored by her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

The Princess of Wales chose Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara, a diamond and pearl headpiece that has become one of her most frequently worn royal accessories. The tiara features 19 diamond arches and 28 drop-shaped pearls, with the pearls suspended beneath intricate diamond knots. It was commissioned by Queen Mary from the House of Garrard in 1913 and made as a copy of a tiara once owned by Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel, Duchess of Cambridge.

This marked her second appearance in the tiara this year and her 16th time wearing it since marrying William in 2011. Kate paired the headpiece with a yellow gown by Elie Saab featuring a keyhole neckline, pleated skirt and flowing cape. She accessorised with a glittering Anya Hindmarch clutch, Queen Mary’s diamond choker bracelet and earrings from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection.

The Princess last wore the Lover’s Knot tiara earlier this year in March for the state banquet. On that occasion, she paired it with a green gown by Andrew Gn, a choice that reflected the colors of the Nigerian flag.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold previously said in an interview that the tiara was one of Diana’s favorite pieces, and suggested that “Kate wears this to keep her late mother-in-law’s memory alive.”

Prince William joined his wife, wearing a traditional Windsor tailcoat with his medals and royal orders. Earlier in the day, Kate had worn a forest-green Alexander McQueen coat dress and a matching hat while welcoming the Sultan during the official arrival ceremony.
