The Peek-a-Bra is Taking Over Naked Dress
Recently, the fashion world has seen a significant shift in the way women dress, and one trend that is gaining momentum is the Peek-a-bra look. This style, which involves wearing a bra or lingerie as a top, has gained widespread attention, especially among young women.

The Peek-a-bra look is achieved by wearing a bra or lingerie as a top, often with a low-cut or transparent dress or top. The bra is usually visible, and the wearer’s cleavage is accentuated, creating a more revealing finish. Many celebrities and influencers are gravitating towards this trend seen on red carpets and across social platforms.
One of the reasons why the Peek-a-bra trend has taken over naked-dress trend is its versatility. It can be worn with a variety of outfits, from casual jeans and skirts to gowns. It appears across various shapes.

This trend has appealed to women who feel traditional notions of modesty limits them from embracing their bodies. However, the Peek-a-bra trend has faced a series of criticisms and backlash; some view it as a form of objectification and argue that it perpetuates the sexualization of women’s bodies.

Economically, it has opened up new opportunities for fashion brands and designers. Many brands are now creating clothing and lingerie specifically designed for the Peek-a-bra style. It has also inspired a new wave of fashion influencers, who are showcasing the Peek-a-bra look on social media.

Hailey Bieber Launches ’90s-Inspired Denim Collection With Gap
Hailey Bieber’s love for denim has led to a collaboration with Gap, introducing a limited-edition collection inspired by her personal style and ’90s fashion. The collection, called “The Hailey Jean,”will launch on July 16 and it features two denim silhouettes: the Extra Baggy Jean and the Low Rise Loose Jean.
The collection was inspired by the vintage Gap jeans Bieber has often been seen wearing, as well as her love for the simplicity of ’90s dressing. Each style comes in three different washes. It also includes personalized details like a “1996” branding on the hardware and back patches, referencing her birth year, as well as her signature printed inside the pocket lining.

During an official press release, Bieber explained the collaboration came naturally because Gap has always been part of her wardrobe. “Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically,” she said. She also explained that the collection was influenced by the way people dressed in the ’90s, adding, “There was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim. We wanted the campaign and the collection to capture that same feeling in a way that felt modern, nostalgic and personal.”
The model and entrepreneur worked with Gap on the design process, focusing on the fit, proportions, and washes of each pair. The collection features two jean styles available in six washes made from 100% cotton rigid denim, with the jeans retailing for $89.

The campaign, photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Alastair McKimm, pays tribute to Gap’s ’90s advertising era. Bieber appears in the campaign wearing the new denim styles paired with classic Gap T-shirts. Directed by Charlie Di Placido, she was seen in a recreated ’90s bedroom setting with The Cranberries’ song “Linger” as the soundtrack.
Bieber also shared that fit and wash are the most important things she looks for when choosing jeans. When asked how she plans to style The Hailey Jean, she revealed that she has been pairing them with a long-sleeved oversized white shirt and a small heeled sandal for summer. For the colder months, she said she would style them with a flat shoe or loafer.

The Best Street Style Moments from Fall 2026 Couture Week
The heat wave in Paris might have been overwhelming, but it didn’t stop guests from bringing their best. Fashion on the streets mirrored what was happening on the runways, with guests wearing similar textures, shapes and details.
Haute Couture Week, which takes place twice a year, remains one of the most exclusive events in fashion, with only designers approved by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) invited to present their collections. This season’s schedule included brands like Schiaparelli, Chanel, Dior, Viktor & Rolf, Iris Van Herpen, and Robert Wun, alongside newer additions like Standing Ground and Manish Malhotra. While some houses like Maison Margiela were absent, the week still delivered powerful presentations.

Throughout the week, designers unveiled collections filled with hand-stitched elements and bold textures. Gigi Hadid also made an impression on the runway in a black feather cocoon look, which offered a sense of ease in the middle of the heat.
But what happened outside the shows was just as interesting. Despite the hot temperatures, guests stepped out in variety of looks. From A-list names like Cynthia Erivo to Teyana Taylor, the streets of Paris turned into a second runway.
