Kate Middleton Embraces Vintage-Inspired Wool Tailoring
We are nearly two months into the year and Kate Middleton has attended several engagements. Earlier, she made a surprise visit to London’s Charing Cross before heading to Bradford in her Baker boy hat and braid. On Tuesday, February 3, the Princess of Wales continued her schedule with a tour of textile factories in West Wales. She stopped at Melin Tregwynt, a woolen mill set in a wooded valley along the Pembrokeshire coast.

The Princess of Wales arrived in an outfit referencing the textile surroundings. She wore a red coat featuring a vintage-rose design, crafted from Welsh tapestry wool in a 1960s-inspired pattern.
Beneath the coat, she paired dark grey Victoria Beckham trousers with an olive turtleneck, completing the look with suede heels from Gianvito Rossi, continuing her familiar tailored, blazer-style dressing for the visit to the textile factory.

The Princess of Wales showed a keen interest in the craft, reportedly speaking with staff and also watching the weavers at their looms to learn about the double-cloth weaving process and blankets production.

This was not her first visit to textile mills. She has made several trips to promote British textile craftsmanship, which are significant to her family’s heritage. Last fall, she toured mills in Suffolk, including one that has been operating for more than 300 years. In 2023, she visited AW Hainsworth in Leeds, established in 1783 and still producing woolen cloth and other fabrics today.

Her choice of a tapestry-inspired coat and carefully tailored pieces was in line with her recent experience in Stirling, Scotland at the Radical Weavers charity, where she tried her hand at traditional tartan weaving.

The Looks From the Grammys After-Party
The Grammys may have wrapped, but the style didn’t stop at the red carpet. The after-parties offered a chance for stars to show a different late-night look, trading formal gowns for daring silhouettes and statement pieces that suited the informal after-party setting.
Hailey Bieber made a clean transition into a backless white halter minidress, while Tate McRae wore a black latex midi bustier dress. Olivia Rodrigo opted for a nude lace mini. Rosé
wore a glittering strapless gown, and Charli XCX was in a little black lace dress. Billie Eilish also made an impression with a bold ensemble that kept the night’s energy high.

Across the various venues, from intimate private parties to larger celebrations, stars experimented with texture, cut, and color.
Accessories were precise rather than overwhelming, while hair and makeup varied from neat and styled to relaxed and casual.
The after-party circuit continued the night’s fashion, featuring bold, evening-appropriate looks that extended the Grammys’ style focus beyond the main event.

Margot Robbie’s Chanel Dress Brings Wuthering Heights to the Red Carpet
Margot Robbie has a commanding red carpet presence. Her red carpet looks are carefully considered. For the Paris premiere of Wuthering Heights, the actor leaned fully into the film’s emotional gravity, stepping out in custom Chanel couture that showed the gothic tone of the film.

Arriving at Le Grand Rex on February 2, 2026, Robbie wore a gown designed by Matthieu Blazy combining gothic inspiration with modern tailoring. The deep burgundy velvet bodice featured a sculpted corset, flowing into a layered floor-length skirt of ivory silk faille beneath the velvet. Feather and silk petal embellishments traced the train, adding subtle texture while keeping a period-inspired style.
Stylist Andrew Mukamal completed the look with over 100 carats of Lorraine Schwartz “nude” diamonds, including a velvet-band choker centered with an old-cut oval stone and a coordinating ring. The jewelry added luminosity without distracting from the gown’s dramatic silhouette, highlighting the gown’s narrative style.

Robbie’s beauty choices complemented the gown. Blonde locks fell naturally in a centre part, framing a complexion with a soft, rosy glow. A deep red lip showed the gown’s hue, completed a look consistent with the film’s gothic tone.
The Paris gown continued a press tour trend of couture looks that drew from the film’s gothic inspiration while remaining modern.
