Hilary Duff Calls Having Kids Before Getting Married “Absolutely Psycho” And Still Recommends It

Hilary Duff is opening up about the decision to have children before marrying husband Matthew Koma, a choice she now says she would still recommend.

The actress appeared on a new episode of the SiriusXM podcast The Morgan Stewart Show ahead of her recent SiriusXM Small Stage Series concert on May 14, where she spoke about her relationship timeline with Koma and how quickly their lives changed after reconnecting following two breakups.

“[We] got back together, we were like, ‘We should have a baby,’” Duff said. She added that becoming pregnant before marriage felt “absolutely psycho.”

“We had the baby, got married, which was actually so fun,” she continued. “She walked me down the aisle… It was really, really fun and cute. And like Luca walked Matthew Koma down the aisle, which was, I would recommend it to people.”

Hilary and Koma first met in 2015 while working on her Breathe In. Breathe Out. album. Their relationship later went through two separations before they reunited.

Duff was also asked how long she and Koma were separated during their breakups.

“Okay. The first time, I feel like maybe he would be like, ‘No, that’s not correct.’ But he remembers things a little bit better than I do,” she said. “I feel like maybe we were broken up for like a year and then the second time we were broken up for like six months. Not that long. [Not talking through that time], but weirdly, he would Words With Friends me or something. And he’d always kick my ass, too, which was so annoying.”

The couple welcomed their first daughter together, Banks Violet Bair, in October 2018. More than a year later, they married in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home in December 2019.

Looking back on the wedding, Duff shared that their children played a major role in the ceremony. Their daughter Banks walked her down the aisle, while Duff’s son Luca, whom she shares with former husband Mike Comrie, walked Koma down the aisle.

Duff and Koma now share three daughters together: Banks, Mae James, and Townes Meadow.

Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker Mark 4th Anniversary With “Til Death Do Us Part” Rings

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary with matching custom-made signet rings engraved with the words “Til Death Do Us Part.”The custom jewelry, designed by London-based Cece Jewellery, was revealed by Kourtney on her Instagram Stories on Monday, May 25.

Kardashian shared an image of the couple’s hand-painted gold rings, writing, “his and hers,” while tagging the jewelry house. The large 18-karat gold signet rings feature two skeleton lovers gazing at each other, framed by deep plum-colored flowers “symbolizing eternal love and devotion,” according to a press release from the jeweler. The artwork also includes a bright red heart with the initials “TB” and “KB,”etched with flames details, while star-set diamonds appear throughout the design.

The phrase “Til Death Do Us Part” also references “Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis” was also the title of their Hulu wedding special released in 2023. The jewelry commemorates the couple’s recent anniversary celebrations. Last week, Kourtney marked four years since their Portofino wedding ceremony by posting throwback wedding photos with the caption, “5.22.22 ❤ forever.”

The couple legally tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in Santa Barbara on May 15, 2022, before holding a wedding celebration in Portofino, Italy, on May 22 in front of family and friends. Prior to both ceremonies, they held a late-night “practice wedding” at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in April 2022.

“Rich in symbolism and storytelling, the designs feel reflective of both Cece’s signature aesthetic and Kourtney and Travis’ wider visual world,” the jewelry house shared. Barker previously described the number 13, featured beneath the hearts on the rings, as “just the greatest number of all time.”

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Cheer Courtside at Knicks Playoff Game in Cleveland

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were among the most closely watched guests inside Rocket Arena, Ohio on May 25 as the New York Knicks faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Their appearance came during a tense night surrounding celebrity seating at the arena, with several high-profile Knicks supporters reportedly affected by restrictions placed on resale courtside tickets.

Chalamet and Jenner attended the game alongside fellow Knicks fans including Spike Lee and Tracy Morgan amid reports that some resale courtside tickets were not being honored for the matchup. Rapper Fat Joe later claimed his front-row seats had been canceled because first-row resale tickets were not being honored for the game.

Chalamet wore a leather Knicks jacket layered over a gray T-shirt and a silver chain. Jenner coordinated with the team colors in a blue Knicks shirt and carried a black Chanel handbag while seated courtside beside him. Photos showed the pair smiling and chatting throughout the game.

The latest courtside appearance comes just weeks after they attended Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden on May 6, where they were also photographed in coordinated Knicks-inspired outfits.

For the outing, Jenner and Chalamet were both dressed in denim jeans, paired with coordinated orange jackets in support of the New York team.

The game ended with the Knicks defeating the Cavaliers 130-93 to complete a four-game sweep and secure their place in the NBA Finals.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Turn the Cavaliers Game Into a Courtside Date Night

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out together for Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks, turning the game into a courtside date night.

Kelce, who is originally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and has often spoken about being a fan of Cleveland teams, was seen chatting and smiling with Swift as they cheered on the Cavaliers. While the game was going on, the couple were seen sharing affectionate moments, including Swift resting her hand on Kelce’s arm and sharing a kiss.

For the night out, the singer wore a black tank top with sparkling details along the neckline, paired with wide-leg denim and open-toe sandals. She also carried a black zip-up jacket in preparation for the cold weather.

Travis coordinated with her by wearing a washed denim jacket and trousers, layered over a burgundy Cavaliers T-shirt. He wore it with a Cleveland Cavaliers cap and sneakers.

Just a day before the game, the two were photographed arriving at an upscale Italian restaurant in New York City. For that outing, Swift wore a sleek black mini dress paired with Dior heels and a matching bag, while the couple were again seen showing affection during their time there.

The couple, who got engaged in 2025, have been the subject of ongoing speculation concerning their wedding, with reports online pointing to a possible July date. Swift has also recently been seen in a series of white outfits, adding to ongoing conversations around upcoming ceremony.

The pair has been private about their relationship. A source told People, “It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.”
