Dakota Johnson’s Cape Detail Reworks Classic Outwear for Fall
Dakota Johnson is known for her appreciation of eye-catching pieces, yet when it comes to styling she also enjoys refined simplicity. Styled by Kate Young, she attended another night of the Zurich Film Festival on Saturday. She appeared on stage in Switzerland wearing a Maximilian Davis Ferragamo Fall 2025 minidress. The charcoal grey bodice was draped in a black silk cape and finished with a short black hem. The cape is making a reappearance this season, as seen on the autumn 2025 runways, with labels such as Khaite, Chloé, and Celine all introducing their own designs.

Johnson wore enormous platform boots made of shining black leather from Saint Laurent to balance out the softness of the wool outfit. The striking shoes, which hit just below the knee, had a block heel and a slightly rounded toe, with an engraved belt-buckle design at the ankle adding a touch of gold to the star’s otherwise black-and-grey look. Her makeup was a light smokey eye and nude lip. She used more metals in her jewellery, including two pieces of Roberto Coin, a pair of rose gold earrings with diamond detailing, and a yellow gold ring encrusted with diamonds and sapphires.

At the festival, Johnson received the Golden Eye Award while also presenting her new movie, “Splitsville”. Speaking about her project, she said “I guess, off the bat, it reads as a comedy. It’s about two couples and the challenging dynamics of their relationships individually, and then their relationships intertwined with each other. It’s about the complexities of love.”
She added, “It’s less of a love triangle and more of a love experiment. It’s enmeshed, codependent, incestuous, and all the while really deeply loving ultimately, but pretty fucked up a lot of the time.”
Her look for the Zurich film festival showed how carefully chosen pieces, from luxury tailoring to statement boots and sparkling jewelry, can make a simple outfit truly stand out.

Taylor Swift was photographed in New York City with longtime friend Ashley Avignone, on Wednesday, April 8, amid ongoing speculation around her wedding plans. She was seen in a silky white maxi skirt that had a coded bridal feel to it.
The skirt had a fluid-like silhouette and a relaxed fit, with an invisible zipper, keeping the look clean and uninterrupted. She paired it with a black spaghetti strap top. She singer carried a mini Dior handbag and black sandals. She accessorized with jewelry from Audrey Rose, including two stacked diamond necklaces.

Her hair was styled in an updo with soft fringe at the front, while her makeup remained consistent with her signature look: winged eyeliner and a bold red lip. The styling quietly nods to bridal dressing without looking obvious.

Recently, there has been rumors concerning her wedding with Travis Kelce, claiming the ceremony could take place on June 13, 2026, at Ocean House in Rhode Island. However, those claims were dismissed, with a wedding planner reportedly clarifying that the venue is already booked for another event on that date.

The singer has not addressed the ongoing speculations and it remains unclear whether this recent choice of outfit is an intentional nods to bridal styling or simply a reflection of her current fashion preferences.
Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of Margot’s Got Money Troubles in New York City wearing Schiaparelli’s Fall 2026 collection.
The outfit was a two-piece consisting of a zip-up top and a pencil skirt. Both pieces featured white fish-scale embellishment running down the front with sheer panels balanced by structured sections.

She paired the look with black strappy sandals by Gianvito Rossi and an Ortega watch. Compared to the runway version, the skirt was worn higher on the waist, and the belt seen on the original design was removed.

Hair was styled by Adir Abergel in a structured updo with loose lengths and feathered bangs. Makeup was done by Mary Wiles, featuring a neutral base and with brown smoky eyes.
Her recent red carpet appearances follow a similar direction. In 2026, she wore a nude-toned illusion gown by Gucci at the A Family Affair premiere, and a sheer floral appliqué look by Dolce & Gabbana at the Spellbound premiere, both using sheer and structured elements.
