Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are reportedly engaged after more than a year of dating. The news emerged on October 16 following reports about a diamond ring worn by Hurley and an Instagram post in which Cyrus made a reference to a ring.
Hurley, 61, shared two mirror selfies on Instagram on October 12 from the set of The ‘Burbs. Wearing a white robe, the actress posed with a large diamond ring on her left ring finger. She captioned the photographs, “Day 1 on set #TheBurbs.” The ring was partly obscured in the first image but clearly visible in the second.
The photographs prompted speculation about whether Hurley was engaged to Cyrus, 65. A source quoted in the initial coverage dismissed the possibility that the ring was a prop for her television role, saying, “She’s filming ‘The ‘Burbs’; I hardly think this ring is a prop.”
On October 15, Cyrus shared an Instagram post about his music and an upcoming performance with NASCAR in Phoenix. He mentioned that his video for Party’s in the Back, featuring Deltona, had surpassed half a million views in a few days. He also discussed an upcoming 20th-anniversary special for I Want My Mullet Back and a John tribute track, Storm Windows.
Cyrus ended the post with the words, “Kinda has a ring  to it,” while Mark Collie’s Something With a Ring to It played in the background. Hurley’s son, Damian, responded with a celebratory emoji.

The engagement was subsequently reported by several entertainment publications, although neither Cyrus nor Hurley had publicly announced it in the coverage reviewed. No details about a proposal or wedding date have been disclosed.
The couple first met in 2022 while filming the holiday comedy Christmas in Paradise on the Caribbean island of Nevis. Their relationship became public on Easter Sunday in April 2025, when they shared a photograph together on Instagram. The following month, they made their red-carpet debut as a couple at an event in Rome, Italy.
Cyrus later revealed that Hurley had reached out to him during a difficult period in his personal life. Speaking on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show in April 2025, he recalled receiving a message from the actress offering her support.
“I didn’t even know the number, and it’s like, ‘Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner. You got a friend in your corner,’” he said.
Hurley, known for her roles in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Bedazzled, has also spoken about the similarities between them. During an appearance on the SheerLuxe podcast in October 2026, she joked about their matching hairstyles.
“We have the same hair. Identical hair. Apart from his beard, we’re actually like twins,” she said.

The actress has also discussed their shared preference for country living. In May 2025, she spoke about the similarities between Cyrus’s farm in Tennessee and her own property in Gloucestershire, England.
“Funnily enough, [Billy’s] farm in Tennessee is very similar to my farm here in Gloucestershire, so in a way it kind of feels normal,” she said.
In June 2025, Hurley told People that they enjoyed watching birds of prey, lighting bonfires and spending time outdoors. She also described using power tools in the garden while Cyrus played guitar beneath a tree.
“We obsessively watch birds of prey and light lots of bonfires,” she said. “It’s bliss.”
If the reported engagement leads to marriage, it would be Cyrus’s fourth and Hurley’s second. Cyrus married Cindy Smith in 1986, and they divorced in 1991. He married Tish Cyrus in 1993, and their divorce was finalised in 2023. He subsequently married Australian singer Firerose in October 2023. Their marriage ended in 2024 following allegations of abuse made by Firerose, which Cyrus denied.
Cyrus has six children, including singer Miley Cyrus. He shares five children with Tish: Miley, Noah, Braison, Brandi and Trace. He also has a son, Christopher, with former partner Kristin Luckey.
Hurley was in a long-term relationship with actor Hugh Grant from 1987 to 2000. She later had her son, Damian, with the late film producer Steve Bing. In 2007, she married Indian businessman Arun Nayar; their divorce was finalised in 2011. She subsequently became engaged to Australian cricketer Shane Warne in 2011, but they separated in 2013 without marrying.
Neither Cyrus nor Hurley had publicly confirmed the engagement in the reports reviewed, and no wedding date has been announced.

Kendall Jenner has taken on a bigger role at Revolve Group, continuing as FWRD’s global creative director while joining Revolve Los Angeles as a brand ambassador.

Announced on October 13, the expanded partnership builds on Jenner’s longstanding relationship with the fashion group. She was first appointed creative director of FWRD in 2021, taking responsibility for its digital creative direction, designer curation, monthly trend edits and major marketing campaigns. She will remain involved in FWRD’s creative direction, from choosing designers and putting together monthly trend edits to working on major marketing campaigns.

Her new position with Revolve Los Angeles extends that relationship across the group’s portfolio. Jenner will appear in campaigns, attend brand events and collaborate on exclusive fashion projects that reflect the label’s Los Angeles identity. Launched in March 2026, Revolve Los Angeles is the company’s first in-house fashion brand, with Bella Hadid serving as its first ambassador during the initial launch.

Jenner also shared her thoughts on continuing the partnership and taking on a bigger role with Revolve Los Angeles. “I’m incredibly excited to continue this partnership with FWRD and expand my relationship with Revolve Los Angeles,” she said in a statement. She added that the five-year partnership with FWRD had allowed her to discover new designers, curate pieces she genuinely wears and contribute to the retailer’s creative vision.

The announcement comes as FWRD reports continued sales growth. The retailer recorded a 14.1 per cent year-on-year increase in net sales during the first six months of 2026, while Revolve Group’s international net sales rose 16 per cent in the second quarter.

Raissa Gerona, Revolve Group’s president of brand and partnerships, credited Jenner’s influence with helping establish FWRD as a leading luxury fashion destination. She described the expanded partnership as a natural next step as the company continues developing both FWRD and Revolve Los Angeles.

Jenner’s appointment gives her a broader role within Revolve Group, connecting her established work with FWRD to the development of its newer Los Angeles label. The partnership also reflects the company’s continued use of influential fashion figures to strengthen brand identity and engage consumers across its businesses.

Diddy’s Head Injury Reportedly Linked to Fight With Jamaican Drug Lord

Published

on

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ head injury has been linked to a fight with fellow inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, a convicted Jamaican drug lord. This happened at the federal prison where the rapper is serving his sentence in New Jersey.

The confrontation reportedly followed increased tension among inmates over allegations of special treatment for Combs.

Combs, 56, was taken to a hospital on Saturday, October 10, after being injured at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix. The injury was not life-threatening, and he returned to prison that day..

The confrontation reportedly followed allegations about Combs’ living conditions inside Fort Dix, including claims that he had access to prohibited items such as a cellphone and alcohol, while other inmates assisted him with cooking and cleaning.

These allegations prompted scrutiny of his prison arrangements. Combs was subsequently placed in the Special Housing Unit, separate from other inmates.

Prison officials conducted searches and confiscated prohibited items, fuelling tensions among inmates. The alleged confrontation between Coke and Combs was reportedly connected to the fallout.

Coke led the Shower Posse, a criminal organisation involved in drug trafficking. He was arrested in Jamaica and extradited to the United States in 2010.

Coke pleaded guilty to commit assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2012.

Both Coke and Combs were reportedly placed in restrictive housing following the alleged confrontation. However, prison officials have not publicly confirmed those details.

Following reports of Combs’ hospital visit, his spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said the rapper’s well-being were the immediate concern.

A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to discuss Combs’ medical status or conditions of confinement.

Combs is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. A jury acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.

He has been in custody since his September 2024 arrest. His projected release date is March 2, 2028.

Halle Berry’s Son Allowed to Testify in Custody Battle With Olivier Martinez

Published

Halle Berry’s 13-year-old son, Maceo, has been permitted to testify in the custody dispute between the actress and her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, after a judge ruled that the teenager could take the stand at an upcoming hearing concerning Martinez’s request for a domestic violence restraining order against Berry.

During a hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, October 14, Judge Shelley Kaufman ruled that Maceo could testify at the proceedings scheduled for Friday, October 16. However, his testimony will be limited to Martinez’s request for the restraining order. The judge also specified that Maceo must not be coached and that his testimony will take place in a closed courtroom, attended only by the parties, their lawyers and court personnel.

The ruling follows opposing requests from the former couple over whether their son should participate in the proceedings. Martinez wants Maceo to give his account of an alleged confrontation at Berry’s home on September 26, while the actress has argued that her son should not be placed in the middle of their legal dispute.

Martinez filed for sole custody of Maceo on October 1, alleging that Berry physically assaulted their son during an argument over a virtual reality video game. According to his court filing, Berry entered the teenager’s bedroom while he was playing the game, criticised him for doing so and subsequently jumped on him, placed her hands around his neck and choked him. Martinez also alleged that the incident was not isolated and cited other instances of alleged abuse in support of his request.

Berry has denied physically abusing Maceo. In a declaration filed on October 5, she stated that she had never physically or emotionally abused their son and described herself as a survivor of domestic violence. Through her attorney, Marina Beck, the actress has characterised Martinez’s allegations as meritless and misleading.

In his court declaration, Martinez argued that Maceo wanted to address the judge directly to explain his account of the September 26 incident and express his custody preferences. He maintained that the teenager should have the opportunity to speak about what he experienced, adding that preventing him from testifying could discourage him from reporting potential abuse or other problems in the future.

Martinez also claimed that Maceo had previously raised concerns about his mother’s behaviour but felt that his complaints were not taken seriously. He argued that hearing directly from their son would help the court assess the allegations and determine the appropriate custody arrangements.

Berry opposed the request, alleging that Martinez had been discussing the case and the possibility of Maceo testifying with him for weeks. In a court filing on October 13, she expressed concern that their son, who had spent much of the preceding two weeks in his father’s care, could have been influenced by those conversations.

The actress referred to a 2024 court order prohibiting both parents from involving Maceo in their legal disputes. She asked the court to prevent Martinez from discussing the case with their son or coaching him about what to say during testimony.

Berry also questioned the reliability of Maceo’s potential testimony, arguing that their different parenting approaches could influence how he perceived and described the incident. She said she had often been responsible for enforcing rules and setting boundaries, while Martinez had allowed their son greater autonomy. According to her filing, this dynamic could have led Maceo to view her as the stricter parent and his father as the more permissive one.

The actress maintained that the court should also consider evidence from adult witnesses who were present during the alleged confrontation. She identified her fiancé, musician Van Hunt, as the only adult third-party eyewitness to the incident and pointed to a declaration from her daughter, Nahla Aubry, 18, in her defence.

Nahla, whom Berry shares with her former partner, model Gabriel Aubry, submitted a declaration stating that she had never witnessed her mother physically abuse Maceo. She described Berry as a loving and involved parent who could be strict when necessary but had never seen her hit, choke or otherwise physically harm her younger brother.

Martinez has opposed Nahla’s participation in the proceedings, arguing that she is biased in favour of her mother and that her testimony is not relevant to the case. His position contrasts with his request for Maceo to testify about the alleged September incident.

Berry has also challenged a photograph that Martinez submitted in support of his allegations. In a response filed on October 13, she disputed his claim that the image, reportedly taken by Maceo after the confrontation, supported the allegation that she had strangled their son.

According to Berry’s declaration, the photograph showed her standing several feet away from Maceo with her hands in her pockets. She argued that it did not show injuries consistent with the alleged assault, including redness, bruising or marks on the teenager’s neck.

The actress also disputed Martinez’s account of Hunt’s observations following the incident. She said Hunt had not examined Maceo’s body or neck for injuries but had reported that he did not observe redness or bruising. Berry argued that Martinez had presented the observation in a way that suggested Hunt had conducted a specific examination for injuries.

Martinez’s lawyer, Patrick Baghdaserians, rejected Berry’s allegations that his client had coached or manipulated their son. In a statement concerning the dispute, he maintained that Maceo should be allowed to speak about his experiences and argued that preventing him from doing so would undermine his opportunity to be heard.

The custody dispute has also resulted in temporary restrictions on Berry’s contact with Maceo. Following Martinez’s request for a restraining order, the court granted a temporary order requiring Berry to remain at least 100 yards away from Martinez. She was permitted to see their son under court-ordered visitation arrangements, reported as two days a week and every other weekend, pending the October 16 hearing. The former couple was also ordered to participate in confidential mediation concerning custody.

Berry and Martinez married in 2013 and separated in 2015. Their divorce was finalised in August 2023, when they agreed to joint custody of Maceo. The latest proceedings have centred on Martinez’s allegations of abuse, his request for sole custody and the conditions governing Berry’s contact with their son.

The October 14 ruling allows Maceo to testify at the October 16 hearing, but his testimony will be limited to Martinez’s request for a domestic violence restraining order. The decision does not establish whether the allegations against Berry are true. She continues to deny them as the legal dispute proceeds.
