Netflix has announced a three-part docuseries titled Michael Jackson: The Verdict, set to premiere on June 3, 2026. The series revisits the 2005 child molestation trial of Michael Jackson, which stemmed from allegations first made in 2003 and ended with his acquittal on all charges after a jury verdict in Santa Maria, California.

According to Netflix’s official description, the docuseries features key individuals connected to the case who were inside or closely involved with the courtroom proceedings, including jurors, eyewitnesses, accusers, defenders, lawyers, and journalists who covered the trial. It also includes new interviews with participants involved in the trial, among them jurors, as well as media figures who followed the proceedings closely and observed the case unfold firsthand.
The production focuses on first-hand accounts of the proceedings, with emphasis on how the case was experienced through testimony and reporting, since cameras were not allowed inside the courtroom during the trial.

The filmmakers describe the approach as one aimed at taking viewers inside the proceedings by speaking only with eyewitnesses and individuals who played a direct role in the events as they unfolded.
The trial concluded in June 2005 after jurors deliberated for several days before returning a not guilty verdict on all counts. Los Angeles Times reporting from the time confirms the acquittal and documents the conclusion of the case after months of proceedings in Santa Maria Superior Court.
Netflix frames the series around the trial record and participant accounts, revisiting both the prosecution and defence perspectives through those who were directly involved or present during the case, alongside journalists who covered the proceedings as they unfolded.
Michael Jackson: The Verdict premieres on June 3, 2026, on Netflix.

Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy ‘Office Romance’ places workplace hierarchy, executive leadership, and secret relationships at the center of its story.

Jennifer Lopez stars as Jackie Cruz, the president and CEO of Air Cruz, an airline company known for its strict anti-fraternization policy. Jackie is portrayed as a highly disciplined executive whose professional standards shape both her company and personal life. That control begins to shift when Daniel Blanchflower, played by Brett Goldstein, joins the company as its new lawyer.

The film’s premise focuses on the growing relationship between Jackie and Daniel as they navigate attraction within a corporate environment where company rules directly oppose their personal connection. The trailer frames this conflict through executive meetings, workplace secrecy, and the risks tied to leadership and reputation.
The first trailer presents ‘Office Romance’ as a clean corporate romantic comedy built around professional tension and personal vulnerability.
Air Cruz serves as a central backdrop, with boardrooms, executive offices, and corporate operations shaping the film’s tone. Lopez’s Jackie is established as a commanding leader, while Goldstein’s Daniel introduces a more disruptive dynamic that challenges her carefully maintained structure.

Their chemistry drives much of the preview, balancing flirtation with workplace complications. The footage also suggests a more mature tone than traditional office rom-coms, incorporating sharper humor and stronger emphasis on executive power dynamics.
‘Office Romance’ is produced by Brett Goldstein and directed by Ol Parker. In addition to Lopez and Goldstein, the supporting cast includes Betty Gilpin, Tony Hale, Amy Sedaris, Bradley Whitford, and Edward James Olmos.
The screenplay was co-written by Brett Goldstein and Joe Kelly, with Goldstein reportedly developing the story specifically with Lopez in mind. ‘Office Romance’ is scheduled for global release on Netflix on June 5, 2026.
