Day two of Paris Haute Couture Week continued as the Grand Palais was transformed into a garden-inspired set, decorated with large mushrooms, delicate floral installations, and controlled lighting effects, marking a clear departure from the designer’s recent subway show.

The designer Matthieu Blazy presented his first haute couture for the house. “Haute Couture is the very soul of Chanel. It is the foundation and the full expression of the House,” Blazy wrote in his show notes. Beyond the stage décor, the front row gathered some of the influential figures in music, film, and fashion. For the occasion, many of the stars wore outfits from Blazy’s previous two collections.

Zendaya arrived at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in a black Ashi Studio couture gown, featuring sculptural details inspired by the film’s spider theme.

The gown was from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2026 collection and featured a plunging neckline with sculptural elements inspired by spider anatomy, a fitted shape and a sweeping train. The design referenced Spider-Man through its sculptural construction and continued the spider-inspired details seen throughout Zendaya’s promotional appearances for the film.

Styled by Law Roach, the gown was paired with Maison Boucheron diamond earrings and Louboutin heels featuring spider-inspired detailing, with a neat hairstyle and refined makeup look, keeping attention on the gown’s sculptural design.

The Los Angeles premiere continued Zendaya’s use of fashion to reference the themes of her film projects. Throughout the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour, Zendaya and Law Roach incorporated spider-inspired details and references to the franchise, using elements such as spider motifs, web-inspired details and color cues.

She was joined at the premiere by Tom Holland, who wore a maroon suit with red accents that referenced Spider-Man’s signature palette. The pair reprise their roles as MJ and Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled for release on July 31.

Days earlier, Zendaya stepped out during the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour with a retro-inspired hairstyle featuring baby bangs, a beauty look that recalled Audrey Hepburn’s signature style.

Dua Lipa has been a frequent presence at Electric Lady Studios in recent weeks, continuing a steady schedule of recording sessions in New York City. Her earlier looks featured easy summer pieces, including a white button-down shirt paired with washed jeans. However, this latest appearance took a different direction by mixing summer dressing with a sporty edge.

On Thursday, July 23, Dua Lipa stepped out of a black SUV, wearing a plunging black halter-neck dress with a knee-length hem and a subtle polka-dot motif. She styled the piece with a long gold pendant necklace, black heeled boots, and her Hermès bag, which was decorated with scarves and small charms.

While the base of the outfit felt feminine, she introduced contrast through her accessories. A pair of Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses and a navy Yankees baseball cap that introduced a sport-inspired element on the look.

The addition of the cap, in particular, moved the outfit away from a typical evening or summer pairing. Instead, it gave the dress a more off-duty feel.

The styling choice also differed from her appearance the day before, when she arrived at the studio wearing a fitted green T-shirt paired with black track pants. She kept the same Hermès bag, adding a black hoodie over her head and oversized sunglasses.

Dua Lipa’s continued visits to Electric Lady Studios have also led to speculation that she may be working on new music. The singer’s last album, Radical Optimism, was released on May 3, 2024 and was followed by a world tour. Although she has not officially announced a new project, her recent studio appearances have increased curiosity among fans.

Fresh off The Odyssey press tour, Zendaya has returned to promoting her upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The actress appeared at a fan event in Mexico City, where she debuted a new hairstyle inspired by Audrey Hepburn, but with a modern update.

Styled by Ursula Stephen, she wore her hair in a voluminous updo with bangs that referenced Audrey Hepburn’s signature 1960s hairstyles. Instead of recreating it exactly, Zendaya’s version featured wispy micro bangs that sat just a little bit above her eyebrows. The light airy bangs rested on her forehead, highlighting her facial features, giving the look a youthful edge.

For her makeup, Ernesto Casillas created a look that complemented the hairstyle. He went with a dramatic cat-eye liner, defined features and neutral tones.

She paired the beauty look with a Spring/Summer 2026 black gown from Ashi Studio. The dress featured an asymmetrical design, with one side made from a silky form-fitting fabric, while the other side was crafted from sheer black lace with a slight shimmer. The gown also included extra-long fringe detailing that extended from the bodice and sleeves. She finished the outfit with silver earrings that paid tribute to the Spider-Man logo.

Zendaya was joined by her husband, Tom Holland, who coordinated with her in a black double-breasted blazer, black slacks, and a white dress shirt, paired with black leather shoes. He also added a subtle reference to the film with a white spider-shaped pendant attached to his black tie.
