Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2026: Sharp Tailoring Meets Sheer Sensuality
Saint Laurent presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Paris with a focus on precise cuts, structured shapes, and lightweight materials. Creative director Anthony Vaccarello opened the show with designs that carried the brand’s established style codes.
The show opened with a set of dark-toned looks in shades of brown and black, combining leather pieces with structured jackets and crisp shirting. Models walked out in fitted skirts paired with jackets that carried exaggerated shoulders and boxy cuts. Some were styled with white shirts tied at the neck, while others came in zipped high style. Dark sunglasses were seen in some of the looks.

Later on, the presentation shifted toward sheerness. Models appeared in translucent blouses and floor-length skirts that revealed lingerie underneath. Black remained dominant throughout, with occasional injections of white and neutrals.
One of the standout looks included a see-through chiffon top, styled under an oversized blazer with sharp lapels. Another highlighted a strapless dress constructed from sheer black fabric, cut to graze the ankles and paired with leather opera gloves.

Leather were mostly seen on the runway too: skirts and belted jackets all in glossy leather. Knee-high boots were often layered under skirts or styled with thigh-high slits, highlighting the elongated shape that has become one of Vaccarello’s signatures.

Flowy gowns were given architectural shoulders or sculptural draping, often finished in sheer silk. A notable piece was a halter dress cut in a liquid-like metallic fabric, nodding to Saint Laurent’s tradition of glamour while still aligning with Vaccarello’s stripped-down approach.

Accessories stayed minimal but noticeable. Wide leather belts gave shape to jackets and dresses, emphasizing the hourglass figure. Oversized sunglasses and slim clutches complemented the dark, refined mood.

The collection emphasized its contrasts, pairing structure with light fabrics, the designs were distinctly Saint Laurent yet varied across the lineup. For Spring/Summer 2026, Vaccarello presented a clear take on the brand’s core identity.

Unforgettable Red Carpet Moments From Cannes 2026
The 2026 Cannes Film Festival has come to an end, wrapping up two weeks of red carpet appearances, screenings, and celebrity moments on the French Riviera. As anticipated, the red carpet delivered a wide range of fashion looks throughout the festival.
Even with the stricter dress code implemented in 2025, which discouraged nudity and overly revealing outfits, celebrities including Daisy Edgar-Jones still incorporate sheer elements into their appearances.

Jorts Are Back! 6 Pairs to Shop Now
Jorts are trending, they were once popular in the early 2000s, worn as loose denim shorts and usually seen as casual everyday clothing. Now they are being worn in different ways, with different styles and fits, depending on the occasion.
Before going into the types of jorts and how they can be styled, let’s look at the meaning. Jorts is a short name for jean shorts, which are made from jeans and cut to a shorter length. It could fall above, around or slightly below the knee.
Types of Jorts
Baggy jorts

These are not tight on the body, they have an oversized look. The length can sometimes fall above the knee, and other times they go closer to the knee or slightly below. Pair them with a jersey or polo top, and finished with sneakers for an easy everyday look.
Fitted jorts

These are the opposite of baggy jorts. They might not be fully tight but follow the shape of the legs more. It is more structured compared to baggy styles. They can fall above the knee or around knee length. To style them, combine tank top and loafers.
Ripped jorts

Ripped jorts come with distressed details like holes or patch-like designs across the front. They have rips and frayed hems, which gives them a more casual feel. Pair these with a fitted top and a mini bag. For a more street-style look, add a tie-belt and finish with sneakers.
Cargo jorts

Cargo jorts are made from cotton-based fabric rather than denim. They come with two large extra pockets on the sides. Wear with sneakers, a simple top, and a crossbody bag.
Leather jorts

These are made from leather or faux leather instead of denim and have a more fashion-forward look, not really suited for casual dressing. They work well with a button-down shirt and pointed-toe heels.
Plain jorts

These are tailored jorts with no extra detailing. They have a clean finish, similar to tailored trousers, and because of this, they look less bold compared to other styles. Wear them with a basic top, pointed-toe pumps, and a slim belt for a neat look.
