From the SCAD savanna film festival to The Academy Museum Gala, Sydney Sweeney has been appearing in sophisticated feminine looks. She wore a white dress to the premiere of “The Housemaidon Monday, December 15, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. The look referenced Marilyn Monroe’s plunging white gown she debuted during the 1955 film “The Seven-Year Itch”.

The custom white gown was designed by bridal brand Galia Lahav. Made from silk chiffon, the dress had a draped halter neckline with a tight fitted waist and feather detailing along the hem.

Gwyneth Paltrow Wears Bubblegum Pink and It Feels Familiar

The holidays are often filled with red and green, but Gwyneth Paltrow proved that festive style must not always follow the usual color.  On December 15, the actress stepped out in a bubblegum pink matching set from Calvin Klein Collection that looked familiar. Paltrow was in New York to appear on Good Morning America, where she promoted her upcoming film “Marty Supreme”, starring alongside Timothée Chalamet.

Paltrow has been seen wearing pieces from her own brand, but for this appearance, she switched and opted for a candy-pink outfit from Veronica Leoni’s Spring 2026 collection. Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, the look featured a satin button-down shirt paired with matching cropped trousers, finished with a pink belt and pointed-toe heels in the same shade.

Recently, Paltrow has been gravitating towards neutral toned looks, but this monochrome outfit took a noticeable break and stood out against the simple style she’s known for in her brand, Gwyneth. The shade also felt familiar, taking us back to the pink Ralph Lauren gown she wore when she won her Oscar for Shakespeare in Love in 1999.

She told Vogue that she almost chose a different outfit for the occasion, though it would have also been a bubblegum-pink Ralph Lauren look. The dress has appeared in a 2023 Goop ad, where Gwyneth Paltrow revisited some of her most well-known pieces.

Over the years, Paltrow has stayed true to the shade for her red carpet looks, including a bright pink Valentino gown she wore to the 2013 Met Gala and a baby-pink, one-shoulder Ralph & Russo dress at the 2015 Academy Awards. In 2020, she shared that she has saved all of her red carpet look outfits for her daughter, Apple Martin.

Is this a sign that she’s going back to her pink era? Whether Paltrow is embracing nostalgia or revisiting one of her signature colors, it’s clear that pink remains one of the actress favorite colors.

Blake Lively Transitions from Santa Red to Snowy White in Two Festive Looks

Published

on

Blake Lively‘s recent holiday appearances provided a clear lesson in purposeful, expressive, and carefully edited seasonal look. When the actress went out in New York, she created two unique fashion moments that easily transitioned from festive richness to winter clarity.

Her initial look was influenced by classic holiday color shades, which were interpreted through careful design decisions. Lively was dressed in a Santa-red tea-length silk dress designed by Annina. It had a structured corset bodice and was softened with ruffle details that struck a balance between softness and structure.

The outfit remained firmly within fashion territory because the shade felt purposeful rather than a costume. Accessories were chosen with equal care. Lorraine Schwartz’s emerald jewelry introduced contrast and depth, extending the color story beyond the dress itself. Christian Louboutin heels adorned with crystals added eye-catching detail while complementing the shape without overpowering it.

Her second appearance was completely different. Lively stepped into a winter-white composition led by a Tamara Ralph tweed jacket beautified with white and gold beading, which replaced warmth with clear clarity. The piece sat well between evening dress and fitted casual dress serving as both a main point and a structural element.

Beneath it, a sheer midi skirt with feathered edges added motion and softness while adding contrast without going overboard. The styling was completed with metallic rings and white Louboutin heels, keeping the focus on fabric quality and detailing rather than decoration. Taken together, the two outfits move naturally from one mood to the other, without a harsh contrast.

The deliberate shift from saturated red to icy white explored different holiday moods without repetition. While one embraced restraint through texture and proportion, the other leaned into richness and tradition.
