Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Step Out in Style at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky arrived together at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York, reminding everyone why they remain one of the industry’s most closely followed duos. The annual event, which honours designers and cultural figures shaping American style, saw the pair opt for looks that were deliberate and in sync with their pared-back approach. Rihanna wore an all-black outfit, while Rocky, who received the inaugural Fashion Icon award, kept his own look just as restrained.

Both opted for subtle looks that contrasted with the night’s bolder choices. Rihanna, a designer and business leader, has a record of using fashion to push boundaries, from her Fenty runway shows to her approach to maternity style. Rocky’s personal style merges streetwear and tailoring, a mix that defines his take on modern menswear.
Their coordinated appearance reflected an unspoken balance. Rihanna wore a dark, layered ensemble, and Rocky chose precise tailoring that nodded to classic American dressing. Together, they projected unity without overstatement, reinforcing how the pair continue to influence fashion culture through personal interpretation rather than trend-chasing.
Rocky received recognition for his impact on fashion, earning praise for his consistent ability to merge individuality with mainstream relevance. During his acceptance speech, he turned the spotlight on Rihanna, acknowledging her creative drive and influence with a heartfelt mention that drew warm applause from the room.

Kate Middleton Embraces Vintage-Inspired Wool Tailoring
We are nearly two months into the year and Kate Middleton has attended several engagements. Earlier, she made a surprise visit to London’s Charing Cross before heading to Bradford in her Baker boy hat and braid. On Tuesday, February 3, the Princess of Wales continued her schedule with a tour of textile factories in West Wales. She stopped at Melin Tregwynt, a woolen mill set in a wooded valley along the Pembrokeshire coast.

The Princess of Wales arrived in an outfit referencing the textile surroundings. She wore a red coat featuring a vintage-rose design, crafted from Welsh tapestry wool in a 1960s-inspired pattern.
Beneath the coat, she paired dark grey Victoria Beckham trousers with an olive turtleneck, completing the look with suede heels from Gianvito Rossi, continuing her familiar tailored, blazer-style dressing for the visit to the textile factory.

The Princess of Wales showed a keen interest in the craft, reportedly speaking with staff and also watching the weavers at their looms to learn about the double-cloth weaving process and blankets production.

This was not her first visit to textile mills. She has made several trips to promote British textile craftsmanship, which are significant to her family’s heritage. Last fall, she toured mills in Suffolk, including one that has been operating for more than 300 years. In 2023, she visited AW Hainsworth in Leeds, established in 1783 and still producing woolen cloth and other fabrics today.

Her choice of a tapestry-inspired coat and carefully tailored pieces was in line with her recent experience in Stirling, Scotland at the Radical Weavers charity, where she tried her hand at traditional tartan weaving.
