James Van Der Beek Dies at 48 After Cancer Battle
James Van Der Beek has passed away at the age of 48, after battling stage 3 colorectal cancer. He was widely known for his role as Dawson Leery on Dawson’s Creek, which aired from 1998 to 2003.
The news was shared by his wife, Kimberly. Who described his final days as calm and full of faith. She asked for privacy as their family including their six children, grieves the loss.
Van Der Beek’s illness was discovered during a routine colonoscopy.

For a long time, he chose to keep that part of his life out of the spotlight, opening up only later and on his own terms. When he spoke publicly about his diagnosis, it was to encourage awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of screening.
His career stretched far beyond Dawson Leery. While that role made him famous, he never allowed it to define him completely. From Varsity Blues to later in life, he showed a willingness to grow, shift, and poke fun at his own image when needed . He spoke openly about fatherhood, fear, gratitude, and time.

Chuck Norris Passes Away at 86 After Medical Emergency in Hawaii
Chuck Norris, the martial artist and star of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” has passed away at the age of 86. He was hospitalized in Hawaii following a medical emergency and his family confirmed he died peacefully Thursday morning.
In a heartfelt statement, Norris’s family wrote: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris. While we wish to keep the details private, please know he was surrounded by family and at peace. To the world, he was a martial artist and actor, a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family. His life of faith, discipline, and love left a lasting impact on so many.”

Chuck Norris was born Carlos Ray Norris in Ryan, Oklahoma in 1940. He grew up in Oklahoma before becoming one of the most famous action stars in Hollywood. After high school he joined the US Air Force and that is where he began learning martial arts. He won several championships during his martial arts career and later developed his own fighting system, Chun Kuk Do.
He lead in films such as “Missing in Action” and “The Delta Force” and was widely known for his life role in the TV series “Walker, Texas Ranger.”
Norris was admired for his martial arts skills, as well as his charisma and strength. HIs fame extended beyond films and television, inspiring countless jokes and memes online.

On his last birthday he put a video on Instagram that showed him practicing martial arts. He said, “I don’t age. I level up. I’m 86 today! Grateful for good health and the chance to keep doing what I love.”
Around the world, Chuck Norris will be remembered for his action films and martial arts career, as well as the influence he had on audiences worldwide. Fans, family members, and friends have expressed condolences over his passing while also paying tribute to his life and career.

Doja Cat spoke about her mental health. In a TikTok video posted on March 13, 2026, the 30-year-old said she is struggling with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and has suffered from the illness for years.
“I’ve learned from a very young age to pretend that I like stuff, to pretend that I’m happy, to pretend that I don’t like stuff that I do, to appear like everything is okay,” Doja Cat said. “I’ll get it done. And it caught up with me, and I think it always does for people. I’m now struggling with BPD.”

Borderline personality disorder is a mental illness that causes people to have a distorted self-image and often experience unstable relationships with others. Symptoms can include uncontrollable emotions, fear of abandonment, impulsivity.
The Mayo Clinic describes the mental illness as a pattern of intense emotional swings and acting impulsively that can impact relationships and decision-making. The “Woman” singer went on to say that she’s been in therapy for years. “I’ve been in therapy for years now, and I am so proud of myself, I’ve made it so far,” She said that she goes to therapy to make sure she’s “alright.” She continued “It’s been a process of me learning about myself.”

She ended the post by noting that seeing others confidently express themselves, including singer Chappell Roan has inspired her to do the same, “I had to learn how to be honest with myself because I lied to myself for years,” Doja added. To see someone be like that and not hurt anybody, it lets me know that I can be that way too.
