Dua Lipa Makes a Fresh Case for Logomania’s Comeback
Dua Lipa is known for her love for high‑end labels, especially Gucci. She stepped out in New York City wearing a head-to-toe outfit from the brand. Dua hosted her Service95 book club series at the Chelsea Hotel, where she was joined onstage by her longtime collaborator and friend Mark Ronson. The two discussed Ronson’s new memoir, Night People: How to Be a DJ in ’90s New York City.

For the event, Dua wore a cream blouse paired with a matching A-line knee-length skirt from the Gucci spring 2026 collection, designed by Demna. She accessorized with an interlocking belt, pointed knee-high boots, and a Jackie bag, all featuring the brand’s signature double‑G monogram.
Earlier this week, she also appeared in another logo‑inspired piece, a sheer Gucci minidress with feather trim that featured the prominent logo. That look caught lots of attention not just because of its daring cut but because the brand signature was so visible and central to the outfit’s design.

In the last few weeks, aside from Gucci, she’s stepped out in other bold pieces ranging from snakeskin trench coats worn during outings with her fiancé, Callum Turner, to lavender corset tops styled with visible lace bras. She’s also been frequently spotted carrying a cheetah-print Maison Margiela bag. Still, her head-to-toe monogram look on Wednesday easily stood out as one of her strongest and marked a clear shift from the “quiet luxury”.

Lipa had just finished her 92-date Radical Optimism tour on December 5, after spending almost a full year traveling and performing. After months of wearing detailed stage costumes and putting together polished off-duty looks, the convenience of a ready-to-go monogram ensemble.

A$AP Rocky, Nicole Kidman and More Attend Chanel’s Cruise 2027 Show in Biarritz
Creative director of Chanel Matthieu Blazy presented his cruise 2026/27 collection in Biarritz, France on Tuesday, 28 April, returning to the coastal city, where it all began. Gabrielle Chanel first opened her couture house in Biarritz 1915, bringing her boutique, ateliers, salons, and private space into one location. By choosing this setting for his first Cruise collection for the house, Blazy honors its roots.
The show also brought together a number of well-known guests, with attendees including A$AP Rocky, Sofia Coppola, Tilda Swinton, Nicole Kidman, among others.

A$AP Rocky appeared in layered Chanel look. He styled a red shirt with gold double-C buttons under a brown suede jacket with a tweed collar and additional gold detailing. He paired this with grey-beige trousers and a belt at the waist, finishing the look with burgundy Chanel shoes. A noticeable detail was the pink Chanel bag he carried, which added contrast to the outfit.

Nicole Kidman attended in a full-length black gown styled with sunglasses and black shoes. She carried a light blue crocodile-textured bag with a gold chain. Anamaria Vartolomei also wore a black gown, designed with a thigh-high slit. The dress featured brooch details at the slit and on both shoulders, paired with black shoes.

Tilda Swinton wore a skirt suit made up of a structured tailored jacket and a skirt. The jacket featured padded shoulders and was layered over a white shirt. The skirt had a pleated finish, and she completed the look with two-tone Chanel shoes and a mini bag.

The floor-length dress looked as though it was soaked in water, with the fabric clinging closely to the body. Her makeup carried the same concept, wearing a smoky eye look with tear-like details running down her face.

The upper part of the look featured an asymmetrical design, with one side covered in a long-sleeve black top with a high neckline, while the other side was left open except for a detailed eye design across the chest and a black-and-white glove. The lower half of the gown combined different colors, including a voluminous heart-shaped skirt in black, white, red and pink tones. She carried a matching eye-shaped purse and layered hats stacked on her head.

For the 2016 Met Gala: “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” Beyoncé wore a nude Givenchy gown with latex fabric and a fitted, mermaid-style shape. The long-sleeve dress had puffed shoulders and a narrowed waist. The upper part of the gown was detailed with floral patterns and layered beadwork, which continued down the sleeves and along the lower section of the dress. She wore matching nude accessories, including a clutch and rings.
Each of these looks shows how differently celebrities convey the Met Gala theme, through clothing and makeup. The 2026 Met Gala dress code, “Fashion is Art,” sets the stage for another year of creative looks on the red carpet.
