Blue Ivy and Jay-Z spent some father-daughter time while sitting in the court side at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs game at the Crypto.com Arena on December 10. The 13-year-old who bears a clear resemblance to her mother Beyoncé, dressed stylishly in a Balenciaga jacket and cargo-style jeans.

For the game, Blue Ivy wore a black oversized Balenciaga leather jacket paired with The Attico’s Fern Cargo Pants. She carried Diesel’s 1DR Shoulder Bag in denim and crystals and finished the look with a pair of burgundy Isabel Marant wedge sneakers. These sneakers were notable because they were the same style her mother, Beyoncé, wore in her music video “Love on Top” back in 2011 and was frequently seen wearing them out with Blue in 2012. The sneakers added a nod to her early 2010s style.

This outing adds to Blue Ivy’s growing list of public appearances, even though Beyoncé and Jay-Z tend to keep their family life private, Ivy still makes a few public appearances with her parents. This includes earlier this year when she joined Beyoncé on stage and danced during the Cowboy Carter tour. More recently, she was spotted late last month supporting Kelly Rowland at her concert.

Beyoncé told GQ last year that Blue Ivy, who had already been dancing behind her during performances, was the one who insisted on taking on the on-stage role. She explained that she was actually against letting her daughter on stage at first. Beyoncé went on to describe Blue as a natural artist with strong taste in music.

The one-of-a-kind brooch was specially created by Pragnell Jewellery and handcrafted over 350 hours. According to the jeweller, the design draws inspiration from Spider-Man’s origin story, combining rare natural gemstones, intricate engineering and drawing on three generations of Pragnell expertise.

The articulated spider features individually engineered legs, allowing the piece to move naturally while highlighting the intricate work behind the design. The brooch references the character Holland has portrayed on screen while remaining a fine jewellery creation in its own right.

Dua Lipa has been a frequent presence at Electric Lady Studios in recent weeks, continuing a steady schedule of recording sessions in New York City. Her earlier looks featured easy summer pieces, including a white button-down shirt paired with washed jeans. However, this latest appearance took a different direction by mixing summer dressing with a sporty edge.

On Thursday, July 23, Dua Lipa stepped out of a black SUV, wearing a plunging black halter-neck dress with a knee-length hem and a subtle polka-dot motif. She styled the piece with a long gold pendant necklace, black heeled boots, and her Hermès bag, which was decorated with scarves and small charms.

While the base of the outfit felt feminine, she introduced contrast through her accessories. A pair of Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses and a navy Yankees baseball cap that introduced a sport-inspired element on the look.

The addition of the cap, in particular, moved the outfit away from a typical evening or summer pairing. Instead, it gave the dress a more off-duty feel.

The styling choice also differed from her appearance the day before, when she arrived at the studio wearing a fitted green T-shirt paired with black track pants. She kept the same Hermès bag, adding a black hoodie over her head and oversized sunglasses.

Dua Lipa’s continued visits to Electric Lady Studios have also led to speculation that she may be working on new music. The singer’s last album, Radical Optimism, was released on May 3, 2024 and was followed by a world tour. Although she has not officially announced a new project, her recent studio appearances have increased curiosity among fans.
