Ariana Madix’s Los Angeles home has reportedly been burgled on October 17,2026. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the thieves took jewellery and other items from her home.

Police discovered damage to the property’s back door when officers responded to a report of the incident. The value of the missing jewellery has not been disclosed, and authorities had not publicly identified any suspects.

The incident was first reported by TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources. A neighbour contacted police on Monday, October 19, after the break-in. Officers arrived at 5:45 p.m. and began investigating the property. Their discovery of the shattered back door suggested that the intruder(s) may have entered through that point.

It is also unclear whether Madix was at home when the burglary happened. Neither the initial reports nor the available police information established her whereabouts at the time of the break-in.

The 41-year-old purchased property in 2024 for $1.6 million. This came after her highly publicised separation from Tom Sandoval, her former partner and Vanderpump Rules co-star. Their relationship ended in March 2023 after Sandoval’s affair with fellow cast member Rachel Leviss became public.

Madix and Sandoval had been together for  nine years. They also owned a home together, which became the subject of a legal dispute following their separation. Madix pursued the sale of the property, and the former couple later reached a settlement. Their former shared home was sold in May 2026 for a reported $3.1 million.

Madix is now with  Daniel Wai and became the host of “Love Island USA” in 2024, expanding her TV career beyond the Bravo reality series. She was involved in theatre work including a Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago in 2024. By October 2026, she was appearing as Connie Francis in the Broadway musical Just in Time.

Her representative had not immediately responded to requests for comment.

Jenna Ortega May Take a Break From TV After Wednesday

Published

Jenna Ortega is considering taking a break from television after Wednesday ends, following years of moving between acting projects. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actress said she wants to make room for new experiences after spending much of her childhood working on television.

Ortega appeared in shows including Jane the Virgin and You before landing the lead role in Netflix’s “Wednesday.” Her portrayal of Wednesday Addams brought her wider recognition and made the series one of the most prominent projects of her career.

On the podcast, Ortega said she would probably be “off the TV for a while” after Wednesday. She explained that she had spent years moving from one show to another as a child and now wants to leave room for other opportunities. “What I’m meant to do will come and find me,” she added.

The comments suggest that Ortega is considering a change in her working schedule, rather than announcing an end to her acting career. She has not named any specific plans for the period after “Wednesday,” leaving open the possibility of exploring different projects or taking time away from television.

For now, her role as Wednesday Addams remains an ongoing part of her career. Netflix confirmed on September 30 that filming for the third season had wrapped, although the streaming service has yet to announce a premiere date. The new season is expected in 2027.

Ortega’s next career move remains undecided, but her remarks offer a glimpse of how she is thinking about life beyond a long-running television commitment. After years of moving between sets, she appears keen to give herself more freedom over what she takes on next.

Halle Berry’s Restraining Order Extended as Court Battle Drags Into Second Week

Halle Berry’s legal battle with her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, has entered another week. This is after a Los Angeles judge extended a temporary domestic violence restraining order against the actress. The former couple returned to court on Friday, October 23.

The hearing has involved several days of testimonies over the teenager’s welfare. The proceedings will resume on Monday, October 26, with Nahla Aubry, expected to testify remotely.

The case began after Martinez alleged that Berry physically attacked and choked their son during an argument on September 26. Berry denied the claim through her legal team.

Martinez’s request has led to changes in the former couple’s custody arrangement. The temporary order granted him primary physical custody of Maceo and restricted Berry’s time with their son. Under the arrangement, Berry’s visits were limited to specified days and hours while the court considered the allegations.

The latest extension means the existing restrictions remain in place while the hearing continues. It does not represent a final ruling on the abuse allegations or the couple’s long-term custody arrangements.

The proceedings have included testimony from both parents and their son. Maceo testified for nearly four hours on October 19 in a closed courtroom. His testimony was sealed to protect his privacy as a minor.

Berry also testified during the hearings. Her fiancé, musician Van Hunt, took the stand on October 23, with his testimony held privately.

One of the key moments involved Martinez’s earlier statements about domestic violence. During cross-examination, Berry’s attorney, Marina Beck, questioned him about a declaration he signed in September 2024 stating that the former couple had no history of domestic violence.

Martinez confirmed that he had signed the document and agreed that the statement was true when he made it. His lawyer, Patrick Baghdaserians, subsequently explained that the declaration was related to a financial request concerning legal fees. He argued that it referred to the absence of previous domestic violence restraining orders and convictions at that time.

Berry has disputed Martinez’s account of the September incident. Her legal team has described his claims as misleading and has challenged his handling of their son’s welfare.

Berry has also accused Martinez of interfering with Maceo’s education and care. She said  his actions make it hard for her to participate in important decisions concerning their son.

Berry is seeking to have the restraining order dismissed and wants the court to restore their previous  custody arrangement. She has also requested sole legal custody.

Martínez wants sole legal and physical custody. His arguments are that the restrictions are necessary to protect their son. His attorney said that Maceo’s welfare and safety is the priority.

Berry’s daughter, Nahla Aubry, has emerged as another important figure in the dispute. The 18-year-old submitted a declaration supporting her mother.

Nahla said she had never witnessed Berry act violently towards anyone. She described her mother as supportive.

Berry and Martinez married in July 2013 and separated in 2015. Their divorce was finalised in August 2023. They agreed to joint custody of Maceo. Berry was also ordered to pay monthly child support.

Michael Gray, the actor best known for playing Billy Batson in the 1970s television series Shazam!, has died at 75. He died of natural causes on October 16, 2026, in Palm Desert, California. His publicist confirmed his death on October 22.

Gray starred in Shazam! from 1974 to 1976, playing Billy Batson, a teenager who transformed into the superhero Captain Marvel by saying the word “Shazam!” The live-action series aired on CBS as part of its Saturday morning programming and ran for three seasons. Jackson Bostwick initially played Captain Marvel, with John Davey taking over the role later in the series.

Before landing the lead role in Shazam!, Gray appeared in several television productions. He played Ronnie Collins in NBC’s The Little People, which starred Brian Keith and Shelley Fabares and aired from 1972 to 1973. He also appeared as Jeff, Marcia Brady’s boyfriend, in an episode of The Brady Bunch in 1973. His other television credits included Room 222, The Flying Nun and Marcus Welby, M.D.

Born in Chicago on September 2, 1951, Gray grew up in Miami Beach, Florida, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting and study at the Pasadena Playhouse. His film credits included Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Myra Breckinridge. His role in Shazam! brought him wider recognition, and he appeared on the covers of teen magazines, including Tiger Beat.

The attention that came with the series made Gray a recognizable face among young viewers, but he later became concerned about being typecast. He took a break from acting and explored other work, including children’s theater education and men’s fashion. He also owned and operated a floral business with his wife, Stacy Benon Gray, whom he married in 1994.

Gray returned to acting in later years, including appearances in the animated series Archer, in which he voiced a fictionalized version of himself. He also appeared in the reality series Comic Book Men and made a cameo in the 2023 film Shazam! Fury of the Gods. In the film, his appearance served as a nod to the original television series.

The 2012 release of Shazam! on DVD helped bring renewed attention to Gray’s work. He subsequently attended fan conventions, where he met viewers who remembered him from the series. His former co-star John Davey recalled Gray’s sense of humor and his enjoyment of meeting fans.

Gray is survived by his wife, Stacy Benon Gray, his stepchildren Ryan Cooper and Laurel Cooper, and his son-in-law, Lee Barker.
