Olivia Rodrigo was spotted in London with a look that was drawn from the 1970s fashion. The singer was at BBC Studios wearing a polka dot mini dress styled in a way that evoked vintage fashion.

Photo: Getty Images

The dress, originally designed by Rudi Gernreich in 1971, featured a classic polka dot pattern with a collared neckline and short sleeves. The standout detail of the outfit was the cropped green sweater vest layered over it. The added layer altered the silhouette adding a pop of green, combining 1970s references with a modern edge.

Gernreich, an Austrian-American designer, was a key figure in 1960s and 1970s fashion. He is known for pairing bold fabrics with unconventional pieces. His style was embraced by figures such as Twiggy and Peggy Moffitt.

The singer styled the outfit with black leather pumps with short block heels and a white knee-length socks. Her accessories were minimal and not overboard, including a black Paloma Wool shoulder bag and black Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.

Olivia was at BBC Studios to promote her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.

The posts was part of a broader look at a summer retreat organised by Kylie Cosmetics. Jenner said the trip was inspired by a brand getaway she first hosted in 2019, which she described as one of her favourite experiences. Videos shared from the island showed guests arriving at an oceanfront villa where Kylie Cosmetics products and customised items were placed throughout the property.

Guest rooms were stocked with curated gifts, while branded accessories and personalised merchandise appeared across the villa. Jenner also shared footage from inside the accommodation, giving followers a look at the bedrooms, common areas and outdoor spaces overlooking the water.

A second set of photos from the trip showed the beauty entrepreneur in a pink snakeskin string bikini on the beach. She accessorised the swimwear with a diamond lip-logo necklace inspired by Kylie Cosmetics’ original branding. The images also featured several Kylie Cosmetics accessories used during the getaway.

Stormi appeared in some of the content shared from the trip, including clips filmed around the villa. Jenner’s posts also documented beach outings, boat excursions, group dinners and other activities organised for guests during the stay.

The getaway marked the return of a Kylie Cosmetics summer trip concept Jenner first introduced in 2019, bringing together friends, family and brand guests for several days of activities in Turks and Caicos while highlighting the beauty label’s latest products and customised experiences.
