From classic waves to a neat updo, celebrities always display hairstyles on the red carpet. This year, so many beauty looks were seen repeatedly, but one trend stood out: bangs. From wispy to bold curtain and romantic styles, bangs will be a major hairstyle trend in 2026.

Whether framing the face with a side swoop or adding edge to a sharp bob, celebrities of all hair lengths pulled off bangs.

Lisa stepped onto the red carpet with long, straight bangs that fell below her eyebrows, almost touching her lashes. Her fringe was light and sparse, giving a delicate look that created a soft transition into her loose waves.

Fresh off the Golden Globes, Teyana Taylor stepped back onto the red carpet in an Ashi Studio Spring 2025 Haute Couture look for the Netflix premiere of “The Rip”on Tuesday January 13, at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.

When it comes to wearing structured, tailored outfits on the red carpet, Teyana Taylor is known for giving the best. She proved that at “The Rip” NYC premiere by stepping out in a dramatic sheer black outfit with a high neckline that extended into a face-covering detail. The knee-length dress was designed with an exaggerated heart-shaped hips, and a nude corset underneath.

Styled by duo Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, she combines the outfit with sheer black tights, black ankle strap pumps and accessorized with jewelry by Spinelli Kilcollins and Repossi.

In the Netflix movie, Teyana plays the role of a detective among a group of Miami cops who discovers a stash of millions in cash, leading to disunity as outsiders learn about the huge sums, making them question who to rely on. She was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Matt Damon, Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, and Sasha Calle.

The appearance comes two days after Teyana Taylor took home her first Golden Globe award, winning Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in “One Battle After Another”, making it a strong way to begin the year.

The 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony took place on Sunday night, January 11, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser for the second year in a row, the night celebrated the best in film and television. While the awards is the main focus of the event, the red carpet remained one of the interesting aspects of the night.

With Hollywood stars each bringing their own style to the red carpet, from sharp, structured pieces to contemporary fashion with exquisite finesse, the 2026 Golden Globes displayed variety of styles that portrayed not only the latest fashion trends but also the personal style signatures many celebrities are known for. Take for one, Teyana Taylor who always appears in a spectacular style, arrived in a black figure-hugging Schiaparelli gown with detailed cutouts and a ribbon of fabric flowing out from the back of the halter neckline of the dress to form a train.

In contrast, Selena Gomez opted for a classic Hollywood style with a black Chanel gown, decorated with over 200 flowers made from feathers and silk chiffon. Emily Blunt also kept her look deliberately minimal, stepping out in a custom white Louis Vuitton two-piece offering a calm counterpoint to the more dramatic looks on the carpet.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, sequins appeared in different forms, with Kylie Jenner choosing a silver sequined gown, complete with crystal straps that lay across her shoulders, while Miley Cyrus took a darker approach in a black long-sleeve sequined gown, with deep neckline and fanned, pleated pieces that stood above her shoulders.

She paired it with a satin shawl and gemstone detailings. Jennifer Lopez followed suit in figure-hugging sheer mermaid gown. The men also pushed style boundaries, with Coleman Domingo opting for a Valentino custom look, consisting of a black trousers with a button-up matching jacket designed with sparkling crystal pieces on one side. While Patrick Schwarzenegger gave the traditional tailoring a twist, wearing a suit with a bow tie and a gold accessory pinned to the lapel.
