Beyoncé made an unannounced appearance at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday. The singer arrived at the major sporting event with her husband, Jay-Z. The couple were welcomed by F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali upon arriving at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

The “Crazy in Love” singer isn’t one to shy away from bold fashion, and she made that clear by wearing two different outfits at the event. The pop star first showed up in a custom Louis Vuitton outfit, which consisted of a white, black, and red leather racing suit. The upper half was designed as a crop top that was left partially unzipped. It also had the trademark L.V. logo and monogrammed badges.

Beyoncé arrived in a long black cape-style coat and later put on a racing helmet when she went on a hot lap with seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton before the Grand Prix.

Jay-Z, who stood beside her wore an all-black outfit; a plain shirt, wide-legged trousers and a leather bomber jacket, finishing off with black sunglasses.

Paired with sheer tights, red platform heels and black leather gloves.  Beyoncé completed the look with large sunglasses and a Ferrari cap as she waved a checkered flag.

After helping Norway reach the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Erling Haaland returned to Norway with an unexpected travel companion, a taxidermied raccoon holding a whiskey bottle.

The Norwegian striker arrived in Oslo following Norway’s quarterfinal exit from the 2026 World Cup, but it was not only his performance on the pitch that captured attention. Photos of Haaland disembarking the team plane with the unusual piece quickly spread online, turning the animal figure into one of the most unexpected highlights of his return home.

Known for his personality away from football, Haaland embraced the moment with humor. Shortly after the images went viral, the Manchester City forward shared a post on X joking, “It followed me home,” accompanied by a raccoon and laughing emoji.

The striker later invited fans to help choose a name for his new companion through an Instagram poll, offering options including “Cowboy,” “Ranger,” “TEX,” and “R.O.W. (Raccoon on Wheels).”

The taxidermied raccoon reportedly came from Wild Bill’s Western Store in Dallas, Texas, where Haaland had visited during Norway’s World Cup journey. Fans quickly identified the item as the “Whiskey Raccoon,” a decorative piece featuring a raccoon holding a whiskey bottle, with reports suggesting it was priced at around $750.

Beyond the viral souvenir, Haaland also arrived carrying a white and maroon Prada bag, adding another memorable detail to his post-tournament appearance. The combination of designer fashion and a quirky Western-themed purchase reflected the striker’s distinctive style and playful personality.

Haaland’s return followed a historic World Cup run for Norway. The 25-year-old played a central role in helping the team reach the quarterfinals, marking one of the nation’s strongest performances on football’s biggest stage. Although Norway’s journey ended with a 2–1 defeat against England, Haaland described the experience as life-changing.

“It’s been quite a row, thank you for making it so special,” he wrote after the tournament, sharing his appreciation for the support he received throughout the competition.

While the raccoon may have stolen attention at the airport, Haaland’s World Cup performance remains the defining moment of his summer. His combination of elite football ability, confidence, and off-field personality has made him one of the sport’s most recognizable figures, both during matches and in the moments that follow.

Linda Nosková made tennis history by winning her first Grand Slam title at the 2026 Wimbledon Championships. At age 21, she became the youngest women’s singles champion the tournament has seen in 15 years, securing the title with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 win over her fellow Czech player Karolína Muchová.

During the match, Nosková took control early, winning the first set 6-2 after breaking serve twice. In the second set, she led with a 5-2 but things quickly changed after Muchová saved five championship points and pushed the match into a deciding set.

At one point, Nosková stepped off Centre Court for a break after missing those chances. As she walked past the trophies, she said to herself. “The first step I took off court, the trophies were there,” she said. “I was like, I’m not going to take the small one, I’m taking the big one.” After returning for the final set, the 21-year-old became more focused and recovered to complete a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 victory and claim her first Grand Slam title.

The win did not come easily. Earlier in the tournament, she had already faced a tough moment in the third round against Sorana Cîrstea. After losing the first set she faced match point but didn’t give up.

“I just refused to lose the match,” she said. “I was telling myself that it’s never over, obviously, that the last point always decides.”

She is now the youngest Wimbledon champion since Petra Kvitová in 2011, and joins her as one of the few Czech players to win a Grand Slam in their first Grand Slam final appearance at Wimbledon. Kvitová was present at Centre Court, watching from the Royal Box as Nosková completed her win.

During the trophy ceremony, she reflected on what the moment meant to her. “It feels incredible,” she said. “It’s been so tough, physically and mentally. It’s never easy to get the last point.”

She also shared a brief moment with Muchová during her speech, saying, “I’m so happy I could play my first Grand Slam final with you. We made history today.”

After receiving the trophy, she thanked her family, with her father, Drahos, watching from the stands. Nosková said, “There’s one more person that I want to thank, which is my mum. I would definitely not be standing here without you, so thank you.” With tears in her eyes, she kissed her right hand and raised it skyward as the crowd gave her a standing ovation.

Nosková’s mother, Ivana, died of cancer on the eve of Wimbledon 2024. At the time, she was just 19, but still went on to compete and won her opening match at SW19.

The result moved Nosková to a career-high ranking of No. 7 in the world, adding another achievement to her tennis career.

For an artist whose catalogue has shaped three decades of hip-hop, a milestone concert was always going to carry a sense of nostalgia. Yet when Jay-Z opened his anniversary concert series at New York’s Yankee Stadium on Friday night, it was the unexpected appearances from Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter that transformed the celebration into one of the weekend’s defining entertainment moments.

The performance celebrated the enduring legacy of Reasonable Doubt, the landmark 1996 album that launched Jay-Z’s career, while revisiting the catalogue that has defined three decades of hip-hop. Before an audience of approximately 45,000 fans, the rapper delivered a performance designed to honour the music rather than overwhelm it with spectacle. The production went with a minimalist aesthetic, placing the focus squarely on the songs that built one of hip-hop’s most influential catalogues.

The evening’s first major surprise arrived during “Can’t Knock the Hustle.” Originally recorded with Mary J. Blige, the classic took on new life as Beyoncé made her entrance in a tailored pinstripe look paired with capri pants as she performed the featured vocals on “Can’t Knock the Hustle,”  the singer delivered her verse before Jay-Z responded with a smile and an appreciative, “Oh, she can sing.” and she told the crowd, “Give it up for my baby,” prompting a smile from Jay-Z.

If Beyoncé’s appearance celebrated one of music’s most enduring creative partnerships, Blue Ivy’s performance showed another chapter in the Carter family’s evolving story.
The 14-year-old joined her father during “Feelin’ It,” performing the song’s piano solo with growing assurance before receiving an emotional embrace from Jay-Z, who praised his daughter on stage. It was a brief moment, but one that resonated deeply with fans who have watched Blue Ivy steadily become more comfortable in front of live audiences.

Her appearance also continued a journey that has unfolded over the past several years. Blue Ivy first captured global attention as a performer during Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour before taking on a larger role throughout the Cowboy Carter Tour, where her confidence and stage presence earned praise from fans and critics alike. Jay-Z has previously revealed that his eldest daughter possesses perfect pitch, teaches herself piano by ear and prefers learning independently rather than taking formal lessons.

While the family’s appearances became defining moments of the evening, the concert itself showed Jay-Z’s philosophy that the music should remain the focus. Rather than relying on elaborate staging, the production featured a clean, simple set built around a massive screen displaying imagery from different stages of his career.

Strong demand for tickets prompted the addition of a third Yankee Stadium show, highlighting the continued appeal of Jay-Z’s live performances. with overwhelming demand prompting the addition of a third Yankee Stadium show. By the end of the night, the anniversary concert had become more than a celebration of Jay-Z’s musical legacy. With Beyoncé lending her unmistakable vocals and Blue Ivy continuing her evolution as a performer, the evening offered a rare glimpse of a family sharing not just the spotlight, but a legacy that continues to evolve across generations.
