What began as a brief connection at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards has grown into a romance fans can’t look away from, their first meeting backstage.

The trip also coincided with another anniversary for Gomez: six years of the Rare Impact Fund, her mental health initiative. Amid the birthday celebrations, Gomez reflected on the initiative’s six-year journey and thanked those who have supported its mission.
