Emma Stone Revives a 1996 Donna Karan Look in New York City
Emma Stone made a nostalgic appearance in the streets of New York in a green two-piece set from Donna Karan’s Spring/Summer 1996 collection, a look originally worn by Gwyneth Paltrow. The actress was spotted on her way to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, where she was promoting her upcoming film.

Her outfit consists of a silky green collared jacket held together by a single thin string without any inner layer, leaving a glimpse of bare skin from her neckline down to her waist.
The top had an exaggerated long sleeve that was ruffled from her elbow, adding a soft texture to the fine fabric. She paired it with a matching ankle-length skirt that sat high on her waist.

Emma decided to go fully into the 90’s era, she left her red bob hair loose and accessorizing minimally with just a diamond stud earrings from Arielle Ratner. The actress completed the look with a pair of black leather sandals with kitten heels and criss cross straps from Manolo Blahnik.
Stone was styled by Petra Flannery, who kept the look almost identical to how Paltrow wore it in Great Expectations: minus the lime-green belt that cinched it on the runway. The minimalist tweaks gave the vintage Donna Karan set a softer finish, proving once again that with the right styling, a piece from nearly three decades ago can still look refreshingly current.

The La LA land actress took us back by bringing an archival Donna Karan design, proving that old pieces can still fit in this present day fashion world.

Chanel Métiers d’Art 2026. Key Moments from the New York Show
What comes to mind when you think of a subway? For most people, it’s a busy and noisy place where everyone is rushing somewhere, minding their own business, waiting for a train, or just trying to get through the day. But the new creative director at Chanel saw it differently. Every year, Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show holds in different cities, and for the 2026 edition, Matthieu Blazy chose New York City. He picked an abandoned subway station in Manhattan as the venue and used it to unveil his second collection.
According Matthieu Blazy, the collection felt very character-driven, with each look telling its own story. Some outfits were inspired by a journalist from the ’70s, while others like the ’80s businesswoman ready to rule. All the details were carefully crafted to match each characters.

Models didn’t walk the runway in the usual way. Instead, they appeared around the subway-themed space while some stepped out of the train and stood along the platform as if waiting for their ride. Others leaned against pillars or sat near the tracks. Their outfits were a mix of Chanel tweed sets, oversized coats, and pinstripe suits styled with hats. There were also bold pieces like animal-print skirt suits and denim-inspired sets.
The guest walked down the stairs and passed through turnstiles before entering into the platform that was used as the runway. The stairs became the red carpet. Brand ambassador Tilda Swinton made her entrance in a high-neck feathered top paired with tweed skirt. she accessorized with black pumps with a contrasting ivory trim.

The Peek-a-Bra is Taking Over Naked Dress
Recently, the fashion world has seen a significant shift in the way women dress, and one trend that is gaining momentum is the Peek-a-bra look. This style, which involves wearing a bra or lingerie as a top, has gained widespread attention, especially among young women.

The Peek-a-bra look is achieved by wearing a bra or lingerie as a top, often with a low-cut or transparent dress or top. The bra is usually visible, and the wearer’s cleavage is accentuated, creating a more revealing finish. Many celebrities and influencers are gravitating towards this trend seen on red carpets and across social platforms.
One of the reasons why the Peek-a-bra trend has taken over naked-dress trend is its versatility. It can be worn with a variety of outfits, from casual jeans and skirts to gowns. It appears across various shapes.

This trend has appealed to women who feel traditional notions of modesty limits them from embracing their bodies. However, the Peek-a-bra trend has faced a series of criticisms and backlash; some view it as a form of objectification and argue that it perpetuates the sexualization of women’s bodies.

Economically, it has opened up new opportunities for fashion brands and designers. Many brands are now creating clothing and lingerie specifically designed for the Peek-a-bra style. It has also inspired a new wave of fashion influencers, who are showcasing the Peek-a-bra look on social media.
