Dakota Johnson Poses Topless in New Calvin Klein Spring 2026 Campaign
Dakota Johnson appears topless in the Spring 2026 campaign from Calvin Klein, joining the brand’s history of minimal underwear and denim campaigns. Photographed and directed by Gordon von Steiner, the images show Johnson in interior settings that keep attention on denim and underwear from the latest collection. In several images, Johnson wears only jeans or black underwear, with her hair or carefully placed objects covering her chest.

One photograph shows her seated on a grand piano in loose-cut denim, her hair falling forward across her chest. Another frame captures her reclining near a pool, a book resting across her torso. Elsewhere, she appears in straight jeans and in others wearing black underwear pieces from the brand’s Ultralight line.

The campaign continues Calvin Klein’s signature campaign style: minimal styling, loose-fit denim shapes, and close shots that focus on the body and fabric. The collection includes ’90s-inspired jeans alongside lightweight underwear designed for everyday wear.
Johnson’s campaign marks her first with Calvin Klein. In campaign materials, she said the shoot focused on comfort.
Captioned over the images, one quote simply reads: “She’s so… wild.”

Speaking about the brand partnership with ELLE, she was asked what made her say yes to the collaboration, saying:
“Working with Calvin at this moment feels very symbiotic with where I am currently in my life… I’m at a place in my womanhood where I feel quite calm and centered. I spend a lot of time at home, I feel very comfortable in my body… Doing the denim and underwear campaign in the tone of very laid-back sensuality felt like it’s just a sort of truth of where I’m at right now.”

On how she sees sexiness evolve with age, she went on:
“I think the sexiest clothing items are the ones that make you feel good in your body… Feeling good in clothes changes your energy and physicality. Sometimes being in a big ratty T-shirt is the sexiest thing in the world…”
Dakota has previously shared that her self-care routine is central to how she feels and looks, with rest and baths playing a key role in maintaining her well-being.

Carolyn Bessette‑Kennedy’s Wedding Dress and How It Changed Bridal Fashion
If you’ve ever imagined wearing a slip dress for your wedding, you share the style sensibility of Carolyn Bessette‑Kennedy. Her simple, silk crepe gown redefined bridal fashion in the 1990s and launched designer Narciso Rodriguez into the spotlight. Decades later, the dress remains a reference point for minimalist elegance and bridal design around the world.
On September 21, 1996, Carolyn Bessette‑Kennedy married John F. Kennedy Jr. on Cumberland Island, Georgia. Her wedding dress, designed by her friend Narciso Rodriguez, notable for its simple, tailored design. Unlike the elaborate, heavily embellished gowns common in the mid‑1990s, the dress was a pearl-white silk crepe slip gown cut on the bias with a cowl neckline. It was tailored to fit her closely and emphasized clean lines.

Bessette-Kennedy and Rodriguez collaborated closely on the design. She requested a gown that was designed according to her personal preferences. The construction was meticulous, with two couture fittings in Paris before the wedding. Because the gown was bias-cut with no zipper, final adjustments had to be made before the ceremony to ensure proper fit. She completed the ensemble with a sheer silk tulle veil, silk gloves designed by Rodriguez, crystal-beaded sandals, and a hair clip previously worn by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
The gown’s minimalist design was influential in shifting bridal fashion trends away from ornate, traditional gowns toward clean silhouettes, precise tailoring, and minimal elegance. Designers and brides began to favor bias-cut gowns, refined textures, and reduced ornamentation. The dress influenced both high-profile and commercial bridal trends.

The gown also advanced Narciso Rodriguez’s career. It brought him international attention and helped establish his reputation in American fashion.
Bessette-Kennedy’s gown was a prominent example of a wedding dress designed according to personal preferences. Its impact is evident in today’s bridal trends, particularly in the continued popularity of bias-cut, minimalist gowns.
