The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to the runway with a blast on the 15th of October, 2025.
After a 5-year hiatus, the show returned to the runway in 2024 with a promise to balance individuality, diversity and fashion-forward lingerie and this year, they kept their promises and even went a step further.

Princess Diana’s Iconic ‘Revenge Dress’ Up for Auction
Princess Diana’s iconic black “revenge dress” is going up for auction nearly three decades after it was last sold, bringing one of the most recognisable pieces from the late Princess of Wales’s wardrobe back into the spotlight.
The original Christina Stambolian dress will be offered during Sotheby’s Luxury Week auction in New York on December 9, 2026. It carries an estimated value of $150,000 to $300,000, and the sale will mark the first time the dress has been auctioned in 29 years.
Diana famously wore the dress on June 29, 1994, when she attended a Vanity Fair fundraising dinner for the Serpentine Gallery in London. That same evening, a television documentary featuring her then-husband, Prince Charles, aired in which he acknowledged that he had been unfaithful during their marriage. The couple had separated in 1992 but would not divorce until 1996.

For the occasion, Diana chose a short, fitted black silk dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, horizontal ruching, an asymmetrical hem and a sash. She completed the look with black shoes and her distinctive pearl-and-sapphire choker. The striking silhouette marked a departure from the more conservative royal wardrobe with which she had become associated, and photographs of her arrival quickly became some of the most memorable images of her post-separation years.
The dress, however, was not a last-minute creation. Diana had commissioned Stambolian to design it in 1991, but initially considered the finished piece too daring. She had reportedly planned to wear a Valentino dress to the Serpentine event before changing her plans after Valentino prematurely announced her intended outfit to the press. Instead, she selected the Stambolian design that had already been sitting in her wardrobe.
The dress became known as the “Revenge Dress” in the aftermath of that appearance. Its association with Diana’s public response to a difficult chapter in her marriage helped cement its place in fashion history and contributed to the wider idea of “revenge dressing” using clothing as a deliberate expression of confidence after heartbreak or betrayal.
Its significance also reflects the evolution of Diana’s personal style. After years of dressing within the expectations surrounding her position in the royal family, she increasingly embraced more individual and sophisticated looks during the 1990s. The Stambolian dress captured that shift particularly well: it was glamorous and confident without relying on traditional royal codes.

Diana wore the dress publicly only once. In 1997, she included it among 79 dresses from her wardrobe that were sold at a charity auction in New York to raise money for cancer and AIDS-related causes. Scottish couple Briege and Grahame MacKenzie purchased the Stambolian dress for £39,098.
The couple were not prominent fashion collectors. They had mainly collected antiques and were admirers of Diana, but their purchase meant the dress remained privately held by the MacKenzie family for almost three decades.
Following Grahame MacKenzie’s death, Briege has now decided to consign the dress for auction once again. The upcoming sale will also include a rare original catalogue from Diana’s 1997 charity auction, numbered and signed by both Diana and Stambolian.
Before the New York auction, the dress will be displayed as part of an international exhibition tour beginning at Sotheby’s in London on September 18. It will subsequently travel before arriving in New York for the December sale.
Part of the proceeds will benefit NHS Lothian Charity on behalf of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, adding a charitable element to the dress’s return to the auction market.
Diana’s clothing has continued to command interest among collectors long after her death. In 2023, her famous black sheep jumper sold for $1.14 million, demonstrating the enduring market for pieces connected to her fashion legacy.
The Stambolian dress, however, carries a particular significance. It is tied to one of the most closely scrutinised evenings of Diana’s life, represents a decisive period in her evolution as a style figure and ultimately gave its name to a fashion phenomenon that remains familiar today.
Nearly 30 years after it was last sold, Diana’s “Revenge Dress” is once again heading to auction, where its next chapter will be determined by a new collector.

The 2000s Skinny Jeans Are Making a Comeback
Just when we thought we had finally gotten used to wide-leg and oversized denim, fashion takes another turn. The skinny jeans that were once popular in the 2000s, are trending again, but this time, they are not exactly the way we remember them.
This 2026 version is not exactly the same pair many of us might still have somewhere in the back of our wardrobes. The skinny jeans coming back now are available in different cuts, including cigarette and slim-straight styles. Cigarette jeans sit somewhere between skinny and straight-leg jeans. They follow the shape of the legs but they are not as tight as the skinny jeans we are familiar with.

There are also high-rise and super-slim styles, which give the jeans a comfortable, high-waisted and narrower shape without looking like the traditional pairs that were popular in the early 2010s. Some skinny jeans are having details such as studs, crystals and other embellishments. Another version is the split-ankle skinny, which has a small slit at the hem. The feature makes the leg appear longer and makes the jeans easy to style with heels or boots.

Photo: Valentino Fall 2026
Some of these styles have already been seen on the runway. At Celine’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, models wore cigarette jeans, while creative director Demna introduced low-slung skinny jeans styled with crop tops, leather pieces and fur-trimmed jackets in his first runway show for Gucci.

Other designers, like Alessandro Michele, presented lace-trimmed skinny jeans in his Fall 2026 collection for Valentino. Jonathan Anderson also showed that slimmer jeans are not limited to womenswear by dressing men in skinny jeans with sparkly tanks.
But if there is one major confirmation of the skinny jeans comeback, it has to be 7 For All Mankind’s Fall 2026 collection. Nicola Brognano, who was newly appointed creative director of the brand, brought several skinny jean styles to the runway along with pieces associated with the 2000s, including skinny scarves and high platform shoes. His collection looked back to the way Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Mary-Kate Olsen dressed around 2005 and 2006.

Photo: 7 For All Mankind’s Fall 2026 collection
Speaking about the collection, Brognano said, “Skinny jeans felt instinctive to me because they belong to a very specific visual memory that still feels relevant today.” He also mentioned Kate Moss and Mary-Kate Olsen when explaining the inspiration behind the collection and the way they wore skinny jeans during the mid-2000s.

Photo: 7 For All Mankind’s Fall 2026 collection
Brognano also spoke about the change from oversized clothing to slimmer styles, saying, “After years of oversize silhouettes, people are craving something sharper, more sensual and body-conscious again.” There is now a renewed interest in “glamour and polish,” that skinny jeans create, especially when worn with heels or tailoring, he said and adding how he prefers contrast and tension, describing looks that mix an oversized leather jacket slipping off the shoulder with skinny jeans and extreme platforms, or romantic pieces with something more raw.
Skinny jeans are back, but they come in different cuts and styles, giving us more than one way to incorporate them into our fall wardrobe.

Travis Kelce Stars in Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 Campaign With His Dog
Travis Kelce has made his debut as the face of Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign, and he brought a personal co-star with him. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end appears in the new campaign alongside his fluffy white Samoyed, marking the dog’s first public appearance with him.
Shot at New York City’s Plaza Hotel, the campaign places Kelce alongside Gigi Hadid, JISOO, Peggy Gou, Frances Tiafoe and Carmelo Anthony. The accompanying film follows Kelce through the hotel as he encounters the campaign’s cast, including Hadid in an elevator, JISOO in a kitchen and Tiafoe and Anthony over drinks.

Kelce’s dog appears early in the film. After entering a room at The Plaza and putting down his bags, he is greeted by the Samoyed, who looks up at him before settling beside him on the sofa. The dog later appears with Kelce during the campaign shoot.
The inclusion of Kelce’s dog came after Tommy Hilfiger’s creative team discussed having a dog in the campaign. Kelce suggested bringing his own pet, and the idea was approved. He said the dog suited the Tommy Hilfiger aesthetic and performed well during the shoot.

The campaign was photographed in New York, with The Plaza serving as its main setting. The film is accompanied by Ace Frehley’s cover of “New York Groove,” reinforcing the campaign’s focus on the city and its cast of fashion, music and sports personalities.
Kelce wears several pieces from Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 collection throughout the campaign, including a gray hoodie with a khaki coat, a white cable-knit sweater with a navy peacoat, a rugby shirt and a letter jacket. The campaign presents the collection through a series of encounters around The Plaza and New York.

The campaign is part of a broader relationship between Kelce and Tommy Hilfiger. The football star has spoken about his long-standing interest in fashion and his connection to the brand, recalling that he wanted a Tommy Hilfiger sailing jacket while he was in high school and later became a fan of the label’s rugby shirts and T-shirts.
Kelce’s relationship with the brand will extend beyond the Fall campaign. He and Tommy Hilfiger are also working on a collection scheduled for Spring 2027, marking a further step in their collaboration.
For the Fall 2026 campaign, however, Kelce’s newest campaign partner is his Samoyed, who makes her public debut alongside him at The Plaza.
