Jennifer Lopez Is Bougie in Red While Filming ‘The Last Mrs Parrish’

Published

on

You could have believed Jennifer Lopez was Daphne Parrish, her character from the upcoming film The Last Mrs. Parrish, if you saw her strolling the streets of New York City on the 11th of October wearing a red suit, gloved hands, and a wide-brimmed hat. The singer-actress, who is filming the movie version of Liv Constantine’s 2017 novel, was spotted in Midtown with director Robert Zemeckis and costar Isabel May, wearing an outfit that deviated from her usual street style.

She wore a Dior creation made of wool and silk. The jacket had flap pockets that drew attention to the waist and long sleeves. The French house’s archival-inspired design was characterized by a matching midi wrap skirt and a collar left bare without the usual lapels. A black leather belt tightened the garment at the waist, and an old crystallized angel-wing brooch was attached to the jacket for the scene. Lopez completed the look with Manolo Blahnik  dogtooth pumps and a black leather pouch from Amiri, adorned with gold logo detailing and a crocodile texture, in her gloved hand. The bag complemented her wide-brimmed hat, black sunglasses, and leather belt.

Fans on social media went crazy over her look. “Look at MOTHER!!” one person exclaimed, while another added, “My favorite fashionista.” “Absolutely amazing,” said a third person. One comment also showed how impressed a fan was at how quickly she had returned to work after the premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman. “Wow! Her movie just premiered that day, and she’s already onto the next one! Icon,” they wrote.

For the premiere, Hadid wore a red Schiaparelli haute couture gown crafted in satin and silk. The dress had a halter neckline, a body-skimming cut, and a trailing hemline that extended behind her. She completed the look with red heels, visible only in brief glimpses beneath the gown.

Her beauty choices remained minimal. She wore her hair slightly parted at the side and styled straight, allowing the focus to remain on the dress. Makeup stayed within a neutral shade, with softly defined eyes and a muted lip.
