Donatella Versace Launches New Brand With Revolve Group
Donatella Versace is returning to the creative side of fashion with a new venture spanning fashion and beauty, developed in partnership with Los Angeles-based Revolve Group. Versace will serve as chief creative officer of the new venture.
The independent business will be built around Versace’s personal creative vision and is intended to connect with a younger generation through style, culture, entertainment and digital commerce.
The announcement comes more than a year after Versace stepped down as chief creative officer of the Versace fashion house in March 2025, a position she had held since the death of her brother, Gianni Versace, in 1997. She subsequently became the brand’s chief brand ambassador.

Versace’s departure from the creative role came during a broader repositioning of the fashion house under Capri Holdings.
Prada Group completed its acquisition of Versace in December 2025, bringing the fashion house under new ownership after a period of creative change. Dario Vitale had taken over from Versace as creative director, but left the role after one season, with Pieter Mulier later appointed as his successor.
Her latest project gives Versace a separate platform to develop her own creative direction across fashion and beauty. The new venture will also benefit from Revolve’s established digital platform and reach across international markets.
Founded by Michael Mente and Mike Karanikolas in 2003, Revolve Group has grown into a major online fashion and lifestyle retailer, with its Revolve platform focused on established brands and Fwrd dedicated to emerging labels. The company reported $1.23 billion in revenue in 2025.
Revolve has moved into beauty and other areas through partnerships with figures including Cardi B and Sofia Richie Grainge.
For the new venture, Revolve says its technology, infrastructure and global reach will support Versace’s creative direction. The project is intended to operate independently rather than as an extension of the existing Versace fashion house.
At 71, Versace remains a highly recognisable figure in fashion and popular culture. With more than 12 million followers on Instagram, Versace remains a familiar face to younger fashion audiences, who continue to engage with her signature style and extensive archive.
Her influence has also extended into contemporary celebrity fashion. Zendaya recently wore a 2016 Atelier Versace design during the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour, while Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lopez have both revisited archival Versace looks for major public appearances.
Lopez’s connection to the house goes even further back, the green Versace dress she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards became one of the most recognisable red-carpet looks in fashion history and is widely associated with the development of Google Image Search.
The new brand will initially target markets across the United States, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Its name has not yet been revealed.

The first products are expected to arrive in 2027, with the project set to extend beyond traditional fashion collections into entertainment and other areas of culture.
For Versace, the partnership marks a new chapter in her career, bringing together her longstanding creative identity with Revolve’s digital capabilities and international platform.

Chocolate Brown Is Fall’s Neutral — 5 Ways to Wear It
If black is the one neutral color that can go with anything, chocolate brown is the new black this fall. The rich shade is an easy alternative for anyone who wants to move away from the traditional black but does not want to go for a bright color either. It has the same ability to work with different pieces in your wardrobe.
You can wear it with cream, butter yellow, burgundy, caramel and even brighter shades. That versatility makes it useful for a fall wardrobe, especially if you want to update what you already own instead of replacing your wardrobe. And it is not limited to your outfits either, you can also bring the color into your everyday styling through accessories like a handbag, shoes, belt and sunglasses.
Go monochrome

A monochrome chocolate brown outfit can be as simple as a brown top with matching trousers, finished with brown boots or shoes. A monochrome look doesn’t require pieces in exactly the same shade, you can also mix different shades of brown instead of trying to find pieces that are exactly the same color. A fitted brown top will work with wide-leg trousers, while a chunky sweater can be paired with a straight-leg pair of pants. You could decide to add a brown bag in a slightly lighter or darker shade to break things up.
Tailored jacket

If you do not want to go all monochrome, try a tailored brown blazer or jacket instead. A well-cut blazer can give a simple outfit more structure. Wear an oversized blazer with padded shoulders over a simple T-shirt and denim, then add loafers or boots. For something more fitted, wear a brown blazer with tailored trousers or a skirt for an outfit that can work in an office setting. You can decide to play around with the fabric, as a wool or tweed blazer will give the color a heavier fall feel, while suede can make it feel softer.
Swap blue denim for brown

We all know how a blue denim is most people’s favorite wardrobe staple, but that it is not the only option. Brown denim can give you another take on the familiar jeans look while still being just as easy to style. A pair of brown jeans can be worn with an oversized white or cream T-shirt or even a black sweater, whether it’s a straight-leg cut or something baggier. Because chocolate brown is not as bright as some colors and is not as dark as black, you have plenty of room to play with what goes on top.
Coat

A long wool coat is a natural choice for fall, so choosing one in chocolate brown is an easy way to bring the color into your wardrobe. Instead of treating the coat as just another layer, let it be the piece that brings the all your outfit together.
There are a variety of shapes to choose from depending on how you like your coats. You can go for defined shoulders, a more fitted silhouette, oversized lapels or a belted style that pulls the waist in. And if you feel like the regular wool coat is too common, try a faux-fur or Sherpa version. The coat can be worn over something like jeans and a sweater, or pair it with tailored trousers for a more dressed-up outfit when you are heading out in the evening.
Go for a leather jacket

Of course, you cannot really talk about fall without mentioning a leather jacket. A cropped leather jacket can work with trousers or skirts, especially when you want the jacket to sit higher on the waist. If you prefer something casual, an oversized leather jacket can be worn over a T-shirt and denim. You can also choose a smooth leather version if you want the brown shade to look deeper and more refined.

Kim Kardashian and Ludovic de Saint Sernin Are Releasing a Skims Collaboration
Kim Kardashian and French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin are bringing their longstanding fashion connection to SKIMS with a new limited-edition collaboration.
Set to launch on October 1, Skims x Ludovic de Saint Sernin combines the shapewear brand’s fitted silhouettes with the designer’s use of sheer fabrics, lace and body-conscious designs.
The collaboration has been several years in the making. Kardashian and de Saint Sernin first met while he was an intern at Balmain. Their relationship later extended into fashion, with Kardashian wearing several of his designs, including crochet pieces and his distinctive denim creations.

For the new collection, de Saint Sernin looked to Kardashian’s fashion archive for references, drawing from different periods of her style. The resulting pieces include body-hugging dresses, mini and long dresses, pants and pencil skirts.
The designs also feature lace-up details and sheer elements, alongside the tonal colour palette associated with SKIMS. The collection takes inspiration from 1990s supermodel style, reflecting de Saint Sernin’s approach to fitted and revealing silhouettes.

Kardashian described the collaboration as a combination of the simplicity associated with SKIMS and de Saint Sernin’s more sensual design approach. De Saint Sernin, meanwhile, said the pieces were designed to enhance the body and make the wearer feel confident.
The collection will be accompanied by a campaign photographed by Steven Klein and featuring Kardashian and de Saint Sernin.
Skims x Ludovic de Saint Sernin will be available from October 1 through SKIMS’ website and at the brand’s flagship stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Dubai.

Princess Diana’s Iconic ‘Revenge Dress’ Up for Auction
Princess Diana’s iconic black “revenge dress” is going up for auction nearly three decades after it was last sold, bringing one of the most recognisable pieces from the late Princess of Wales’s wardrobe back into the spotlight.
The original Christina Stambolian dress will be offered during Sotheby’s Luxury Week auction in New York on December 9, 2026. It carries an estimated value of $150,000 to $300,000, and the sale will mark the first time the dress has been auctioned in 29 years.
Diana famously wore the dress on June 29, 1994, when she attended a Vanity Fair fundraising dinner for the Serpentine Gallery in London. That same evening, a television documentary featuring her then-husband, Prince Charles, aired in which he acknowledged that he had been unfaithful during their marriage. The couple had separated in 1992 but would not divorce until 1996.

For the occasion, Diana chose a short, fitted black silk dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, horizontal ruching, an asymmetrical hem and a sash. She completed the look with black shoes and her distinctive pearl-and-sapphire choker. The striking silhouette marked a departure from the more conservative royal wardrobe with which she had become associated, and photographs of her arrival quickly became some of the most memorable images of her post-separation years.
The dress, however, was not a last-minute creation. Diana had commissioned Stambolian to design it in 1991, but initially considered the finished piece too daring. She had reportedly planned to wear a Valentino dress to the Serpentine event before changing her plans after Valentino prematurely announced her intended outfit to the press. Instead, she selected the Stambolian design that had already been sitting in her wardrobe.
The dress became known as the “Revenge Dress” in the aftermath of that appearance. Its association with Diana’s public response to a difficult chapter in her marriage helped cement its place in fashion history and contributed to the wider idea of “revenge dressing” using clothing as a deliberate expression of confidence after heartbreak or betrayal.
Its significance also reflects the evolution of Diana’s personal style. After years of dressing within the expectations surrounding her position in the royal family, she increasingly embraced more individual and sophisticated looks during the 1990s. The Stambolian dress captured that shift particularly well: it was glamorous and confident without relying on traditional royal codes.

Diana wore the dress publicly only once. In 1997, she included it among 79 dresses from her wardrobe that were sold at a charity auction in New York to raise money for cancer and AIDS-related causes. Scottish couple Briege and Grahame MacKenzie purchased the Stambolian dress for £39,098.
The couple were not prominent fashion collectors. They had mainly collected antiques and were admirers of Diana, but their purchase meant the dress remained privately held by the MacKenzie family for almost three decades.
Following Grahame MacKenzie’s death, Briege has now decided to consign the dress for auction once again. The upcoming sale will also include a rare original catalogue from Diana’s 1997 charity auction, numbered and signed by both Diana and Stambolian.
Before the New York auction, the dress will be displayed as part of an international exhibition tour beginning at Sotheby’s in London on September 18. It will subsequently travel before arriving in New York for the December sale.
Part of the proceeds will benefit NHS Lothian Charity on behalf of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, adding a charitable element to the dress’s return to the auction market.
Diana’s clothing has continued to command interest among collectors long after her death. In 2023, her famous black sheep jumper sold for $1.14 million, demonstrating the enduring market for pieces connected to her fashion legacy.
The Stambolian dress, however, carries a particular significance. It is tied to one of the most closely scrutinised evenings of Diana’s life, represents a decisive period in her evolution as a style figure and ultimately gave its name to a fashion phenomenon that remains familiar today.
Nearly 30 years after it was last sold, Diana’s “Revenge Dress” is once again heading to auction, where its next chapter will be determined by a new collector.
