Zendaya Ditches Minimalism for Something Unexpected

Published

on

It seems Zendaya has ditched her minimalist approach for a more defined styling direction as she exit the studios of Good Morning America in an Erdem Fall 2026 look combining tweed and feather details.

She wore a design from Erdem Fall 2026, combining a black bouclé tweed jacket with a feather-trimmed skirt. The jacket was structured, maintaining structure through the shoulders and bodice, while the skirt introduced fullness through layered feathers concentrated toward the hem.

The outfit  relies on contrast between fabrics. The tweed formed a structured base, while the feathered lower half added softer finish. The pairing followed the runway presentation closely.

She wore white pumps by Christian Louboutin, continuing the consistent styling detail seen across her recent appearances. Styling was by Law Roach.

This appearance is part of her press tour styling. While the look itself does not include color, it aligns with the broader ongoing bridal-inspired theme. During the same press run, she indicated that a “something blue” look is expected to follow.

Chase Infiniti Takes a Ballerina Turn in Louis Vuitton

At the Los Angeles premiere of The Testaments at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Chase Infiniti wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown as part of her work with the house under Nicolas Ghesquière.

The design was constructed with a strapless corset-style bustier, shaped at the waist and held in a structured line through the bodice. The skirt extended into layered plissé tulle, creating volume. The fabric was in a soft beige, champagne-toned palette from the bodice through to the skirt. The hemline stopped above the floor, shortening the length compared to a traditional full-length gown.

For accessories, she wore silver hoop earrings with no necklace. Her hair was pulled into a high bun, with a single braided swoop across the forehead. The makeup was dark brown tones through a soft smoky eye and dark liner, paired with a light peach lipstick.

Her shoes were in the same tone, avoiding contrast and keeping the focus on the construction of the dress.

In the week leading up to the Los Angeles, Infiniti appeared at the Series Mania world premiere in France in another custom Louis Vuitton gown. The look featured cobalt blue gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline, shaped with oversized ruffles and a full skirt.

The appearance continues Infiniti’s recent red carpet choices, which have centered on custom Louis Vuitton pieces. As an ambassador for the house, her selections have emphasized defined structure and fabric choices over decorative excess. The combination of a corseted upper section and a layered tulle skirt continues this direction, with proportion and material defining the look rather than embellishment.

The event took place at the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City, marking the opening of the promotional run. The location associated with art and culture, reinforcing the film’s promotional tone.
