After months of dressing up as Glinda the Good Witch for Wicked: For Good press conferences in pastel-pink dresses and bubble-inspired clothing, Grande is now displaying a wardrobe direction that reflects her theatrical background while fearlessly branching out.

During the latest Saturday Night Live promo campaign, Grande appeared inspired by wearing a vintage Bob Mackie dress originally worn by Carol Burnett in the 1970s, an evident change from her regular Glinda looks. Styled by Law Roach, the retro chevron-patterned gown showed Grande’s  interest in classic design and traditional Hollywood glamour.
