Last month, she celebrated World Mental Health Day, using the occasion to speak via instagram about the importance of kindness and understanding when it comes to mental struggles. In a detailed Instagram post, she shared a slide that paid homage to late actor Robin Williams, highlighting his words that people do not fake depression; they only fake being okay.

Friendly House is a rehabilitation facility that supports women dealing with addiction and trauma. The 27-year-old described sobriety as “getting into a car accident because everything I shoved in the back seat moved forward on impact and today I’m learning to navigate life on life’s terms.”
