Kim Kardashian Attends Skims Holiday Party in Velvet and Fur
Kim Kardashian hosted her Skims holiday party in West Hollywood on the night of December 19.
The multi-talented celebrity chose a traditional yet festive black dress for the event, a change from her usual previous revealing style in favour of something a little more modest. The outfit, which looked like a mock-neck long sleeve layered beneath a skin-tight maxi dress, was made completely of soft velvety black, with distinct detailing that was subtle.

It blended a classic vibe with fancy elements, from exposed boning that shaped Kardashian’s bodice to braided straps that referenced the star’s hairy streak. The large satin bow at her waist cemented the piece as an ideal choice for the holiday season
However, the designs on the back of the dress were less subtle. It took the bustle trend inspired by 19th century fashion women’s dresses, the outfit was wrapped with red silk gathers for a festive twist on the classic structure, a revival that has been on runways and red carpets lately.

Hailey Bieber Updates LA Girl Style
The appeal of the modern Los Angeles off-duty uniform is its efficiency. The formula is simple: fitted top, relaxed denim, a standout shoe, minimal extras. What keeps it current is proportion. A recent street snapshot shows how that balance is shifting toward cleaner lines and a more deliberate shape that looks considered.
A narrow, body-skimming tank leads the look, with the cut influencing everything around it. The stripped-back tank has been a staple for several seasons, replacing logo-heavy casual wear with a more refined focus on shape. There is no layering, no jacket thrown into the mix, no visible branding. The top contrasts with the jeans below.

The jeans perform the opposite function. Relaxed, straight, slightly cropped. Not baggy. Not skinny. Just controlled. This middle-ground cut reacts against extremes and reads intentional. The cropped hem leaves the ankle exposed, giving the heel space to register as part of the outfit.
The shoe choice shifts the tone. Instead of trainers or sandals, a pointed heel sharpens the outfit. The pairing creates a tension that defines contemporary street style. Denim keeps the outfit structured; the heel introduces a refined edge. It does not read formal, but it elevates the outfit beyond simple errand dressing.
What makes this version of LA casual worn by Hailey Bieber notable is how little it depends on modernity. There are no experimental fabrics or unexpected colour plays.

Everything is familiar. The difference is in the way the pieces are proportioned and worn: fitted tank against relaxed denim, cropped hem against a pointed heel, minimal styling against structured posture. Each choice demonstrates how everyday dressing can be refined with precision. This is the kind of outfit that returns again and again because it functions as a template. It can be rebuilt from pieces already in most wardrobes yet still carries a sense of intent.

Margot Robbie Rocks Dilara Fındıkoğlu and John Galliano in London
Margot Robbie continued the London leg of her Wuthering Heights press schedule with two designer-led appearances featured period-inspired silhouettes.
On February 4, the actor stepped out at BBC Radio Studios in a corset-style top by Dilara Fındıkoğlu. Known for historical references and precise construction, the London-based designer’s piece featured structured boning and a sculpted bodice inspired by Victorian shapes.

Styled by longtime collaborator Andrew Mukamal, the look reflected the gothic tone of Emily Brontë’s novel while remaining suitable for a daytime press stop.
Later that day, Robbie changed into an archival John Galliano ensemble for a London photocall. The outfit centered on a pale textured coat secured with hook fastenings and trimmed with soft accents, layered over a micro skirt and thigh-high stockings. The combination drew from Galliano’s early-’90s runway aesthetic balancing its dramatic proportions with a streamlined finish.

Throughout the press tour, Robbie’s wardrobe has followed a clear direction, with corsetry, archival pieces, and historically influenced tailoring shaping each appearance. The approach positions fashion shown in the period setting of the film with every outfit tied to the story’s period sensibility rather than traditional red-carpet dressing.
By pairing emerging design with fashion-house heritage, the London outings showed both artistry and fashion history, demonstrating a deliberate wardrobe strategy aligned with the film’s story for the tour.

Kate Middleton Embraces Vintage-Inspired Wool Tailoring
We are nearly two months into the year and Kate Middleton has attended several engagements. Earlier, she made a surprise visit to London’s Charing Cross before heading to Bradford in her Baker boy hat and braid. On Tuesday, February 3, the Princess of Wales continued her schedule with a tour of textile factories in West Wales. She stopped at Melin Tregwynt, a woolen mill set in a wooded valley along the Pembrokeshire coast.

The Princess of Wales arrived in an outfit referencing the textile surroundings. She wore a red coat featuring a vintage-rose design, crafted from Welsh tapestry wool in a 1960s-inspired pattern.
Beneath the coat, she paired dark grey Victoria Beckham trousers with an olive turtleneck, completing the look with suede heels from Gianvito Rossi, continuing her familiar tailored, blazer-style dressing for the visit to the textile factory.

The Princess of Wales showed a keen interest in the craft, reportedly speaking with staff and also watching the weavers at their looms to learn about the double-cloth weaving process and blankets production.

This was not her first visit to textile mills. She has made several trips to promote British textile craftsmanship, which are significant to her family’s heritage. Last fall, she toured mills in Suffolk, including one that has been operating for more than 300 years. In 2023, she visited AW Hainsworth in Leeds, established in 1783 and still producing woolen cloth and other fabrics today.

Her choice of a tapestry-inspired coat and carefully tailored pieces was in line with her recent experience in Stirling, Scotland at the Radical Weavers charity, where she tried her hand at traditional tartan weaving.
