Set against an industrial backdrop with deep blue tones, the campaign creates a mood that places focus on the clothing rather than elaborate production. The imagery captures the collection through intimate portraits, allowing details such as fabric, layering and silhouette to define the visual direction.

Bieber appears in key pieces from the collection, including plush outerwear, leather separates, cashmere knitwear and Miu Miu accessories. The styling shows the house’s continued interest in combining contrasting elements, pairing strong pieces with softer textures and refined details.

The campaign follows the presentation of Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection by Miuccia Prada, which explored the relationship between clothing and the body through tailored silhouettes, considered proportions and textured materials. The advertising images translate those ideas into a more intimate campaign setting.

The campaign continues Hailey Bieber’s relationship with luxury fashion, adding another major house to her portfolio of high-profile appearances. Her presence alongside Xiao Wen Ju reflects Miu Miu’s continued interest in bringing together established names and new fashion voices.

The Fashion Girl Way to Wear Birkenstocks

Published

Birkenstocks have become a noticeable part of this season’s footwear choices, showing up across everyday outfits, from city walks to beach days. As warm weather calls for lighter, easy-to-wear pieces, many are choosing simple sandals that can be styled beyond casual outfits and Birkenstocks have become one of the go-to options.

Instead of being limited to casual wear, they are now styled with everything from denim and tailored pieces to dresses, as fashion lovers continue finding new ways to pair the sandals with different looks.

Denim

Denim and Birkenstocks remain one of the easiest summer combinations. Whether worn with jeans or denim shorts, the sandals complement different denim silhouettes. A basic tank top, fitted shirt, or oversized white T-shirt can complete the look, creating an outfit that works for city walks, casual outings, or everyday plans.

Tailored Shorts

Tailored shorts offer a way to style Birkenstocks beyond relaxed outfits. When paired with tailored shorts, the sandals can easily work for city walks, weekend plans, or a daytime activity. The structured shape of tailored shorts gives the outfit a cleaner look, while the simple design of Birkenstocks keeps the overall style relaxed. The look can be finished with oversized shirts and lightweight cardigans to simple tanks. It creates a balance between a more structured piece and the casual nature of the sandals.

Leggings

Leggings are another way to style Birkenstocks. High-waisted leggings paired with a cropped top, oversized sweatshirt, or fitted jacket create a sporty-inspired look that fits into everyday street style. The contrast between the fitted leggings and the structured sandals adds more style to the outfit.

Oversized Blazers

An oversized blazer might not be the first piece that comes to mind when styling Birkenstocks, but the combination creates an interesting contrast. The structured shape of the blazer combined with the relaxed design of the sandals makes the outfit appear stylish and put together. The look suits  casual meetings or days when you want to wear something minimal without looking underdressed.

Linen Dresses

Pairing Birkenstocks with a linen dress creates a more unexpected combination, but it works  well especially during warmer months. The lightweight feel of linen matches the easygoing design of the sandals.

Beach Outings

For vacation settings, Birkenstocks offer a more styled alternative to classic flip-flops. Paired with flowy dresses, linen sets, or lightweight cover-ups, they bring structure to warm-weather outfits while still fitting stylishly into beachside dressing.

Hailey Bieber’s love for denim has led to a collaboration with Gap, introducing a limited-edition collection inspired by her personal style and ’90s fashion. The collection, called “The Hailey Jean,”will launch on July 16 and it features two denim silhouettes: the Extra Baggy Jean and the Low Rise Loose Jean.

The collection was inspired by the vintage Gap jeans Bieber has often been seen wearing, as well as her love for the simplicity of ’90s dressing. Each style comes in three different washes. It also includes personalized details like a “1996” branding on the hardware and back patches, referencing her birth year, as well as her signature printed inside the pocket lining.

During an official press release, Bieber explained the collaboration came naturally because Gap has always been part of her wardrobe. “Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically,” she said. She also explained that the collection was influenced by the way people dressed in the ’90s, adding, “There was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim. We wanted the campaign and the collection to capture that same feeling in a way that felt modern, nostalgic and personal.”

The model and entrepreneur worked with Gap on the design process, focusing on the fit, proportions, and washes of each pair. The collection features two jean styles available in six washes made from 100% cotton rigid denim, with the jeans retailing for $89.

The campaign, photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Alastair McKimm, pays tribute to Gap’s ’90s advertising era. Bieber appears in the campaign wearing the new denim styles paired with classic Gap T-shirts. Directed by Charlie Di Placido, she was seen in a recreated ’90s bedroom setting with The Cranberries’ song “Linger” as the soundtrack.

Bieber also shared that fit and wash are the most important things she looks for when choosing jeans. When asked how she plans to style The Hailey Jean, she revealed that she has been pairing them with a long-sleeved oversized white shirt and a small heeled sandal for summer. For the colder months, she said she would style them with a flat shoe or loafer.

Rousteing succeeds Julien Dossena, whose 13-year tenure helped redefine Rabanne for a contemporary audience while preserving the house’s signature spirit of innovation.

The appointment marks Rousteing’s return to a leading creative role after concluding a transformative 14-year run at Balmain, where he became one of the industry’s most recognisable designers. Announcing the news, Rousteing described joining Rabanne as “a tremendous honour,” paying tribute to founder Paco Rabanne’s pioneering vision and acknowledging the creative foundation established by Dossena. He said he looks forward to building on the house’s rich heritage while contributing his own perspective to its future.

Founded in 1966 by Paco Rabanne, the maison earned international acclaim for challenging traditional fashion conventions through the use of unconventional materials including metal, plastic and chainmail. Over the decades, the brand has remained synonymous with experimentation, craftsmanship and a forward-looking design philosophy that continues to influence contemporary fashion.

Rousteing’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Rabanne. Under parent company Puig, the brand has become one of the group’s strongest global businesses, supported by blockbuster fragrance franchises including 1 Million, Invictus and Fame. The fashion house now enters its next phase with a renewed focus on strengthening the connection between its fashion identity and wider beauty business.
