Naomi Osaka Makes a Grand Fashion Entrance at the 2026 Australian Open — On Her Own Terms
Naomi Osaka arrived at the 2026 Australian Open in a jellyfish-inspired outfit for her first-round match against Croatia’s Antonia Ruzic at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. The Japanese player has never treated the tennis court as a place just for sport. She always expresses herself through fashion, bringing her personal style into her on-court looks.
Osaka shared with Vogue the inspiration behind the outfit, stating that the idea came from her 2-year-old daughter, Shai. Naomi explained that while reading a story to her daughter, a page featuring marine life had an image of a jellyfish. She showed it to Shai, who reacted with excitement.

The design was brought to life by a collaboration between Nike, Osaka, Marty Harper, and her designer Robert Wun, who has dressed stars like Ariana Grande, Beyonce, and Cardi B. The top, designed to mimic the shape of a jellyfish, combined shades of turquoise and green, with flowing, tentacle-like details along the sleeves. It was layered over a racerback top and paired with a pleated miniskirt, worn over wide-leg white pants, creating a fluid, ocean-inspired effect.
What complemented the outfit was a wide-brimmed hat with a white veil and butterflies perched on top. The butterfly detail was suggested by her designer, Wun, which has a personal significance for him.

Robert shared with Vogue that he had previously been inspired by one of Osaka’s moments on the court; “One of the looks from my fall 2024 collection was inspired by her moments at court when a butterfly had landed on her face mid-match.” For this Australian Open look, Wun revisited that story and incorporated a butterfly into the design.

Osaka isn’t just known for her excellent performance on the court. She’s also recognized for bringing fashion to every match. Last season, she captured her fans’ attention with her custom, crystal-encrusted Labubu’s, which she carried during each round of the 2025 US Open. Her latest Australian Open look continues that tradition, merging fashion and sport.

Gwyneth Paltrow Wears Lime-Green Valentino Dress to the Brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 Show
Gwyneth Paltrow claimed a front-row seat at Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 runway show in Rome, held at the historic Palazzo Barberini. The actress arrived in a lime-green dress from the brand. The presentation, led by creative director Alessandro Michele, marked the house’s first ready-to-wear show since the passing of founder Valentino Garavani earlier this year.
Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, the actress’s look came from Michele’s Valentino Pre-Fall collection. The babydoll-style gown featured voluminous bishop sleeves with cuffed wrists and subtle tonal polka-dot patterns across the fabric. The design nodded to the mod era of the 1960s.

She styled the dress with white floral-print tights that first appeared in the Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 lookbook. Gwyneth carried a black handbag and completed the outfit with pale teal pointed-toe heels with delicate ankle straps.

Her blonde hair was parted in the middle, and makeup was kept light, highlighting a natural glow and soft nude lips. She accessorized with a silver crystal-encrusted statement necklace and a few rings on her fingers.
Paltrow’s appearance at the Valentino new fall 2026 show highlighted her longstanding connection with the house, stemming from her friendship with the late founder Valentino Garavani, who has dressed her for many red carpet appearances over the years. Notably, she wore a Pierpaolo Piccioli design for her 2018 wedding to Brad Falchuk.

The actress was joined by other celebrities in the front row, including Tyla, Myhala, Charles Melton, and Coleman Domingo.

Zendaya Wears Archival Dress Once Worn by Whitney Houston
Zendaya attended the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles in a white dress, continuing her recent series of white outfits.
Styled by her longtime stylist Law Roach, Zendaya wore a white vintage Caché dress inspired by a design with sculpted ruching gathered toward one side of the gown. The design included a slanted neckline and one-shoulder. The most notable detail of the piece was its oversized hibiscus appliqué positioned along the neckline, with layered petals and metallic leaves.

The floral appliqué extended down the ruched side of the dress. She paired the dress with white Christian Louboutin pumps and minimal jewelry, including a single gold Cartier bracelet. Stylist Roach shared a video of the actress on the red carpet, captioning it: “An iconic piece of fashion history at ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards.”

The dress was originally made by designer Eugene Stutzman, who also worked under the name Eugene Alexander. The piece gained attention when Whitney Houston wore it in a 1987 promotional photoshoot. Her version featured two large blossoms along the neckline. The image was later used on a cover of Life magazine.

The dress returned to the public eye when costume designer Patricia Field reimagined a modified Caché version of the design for Sarah Jessica Parker in her role as Carrie Bradshaw for the first Sex and the City movie, reducing the floral detail to a single bloom. Zendaya wore a vintage Caché version of the design at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.

Zendaya previously wore an all-white look at the Louis Vuitton show on March 10, with a thin gold band on her left ring finger and no engagement ring. The same band was seen earlier on March 5 in promo photos for her upcoming film, “The Drama,” with Robert Pattinson. While the gold band and her recent white outfits hint that the rumors may be true, the actress has yet to confirm them.

Tyla’s Snakeskin Backless Top Isn’t Real, It’s a Temporary Tattoo
Tyla has always been fearless when it comes to fashion, but her latest Paris Fashion Week appearance showed a new level of creativity. The singer caught attention when she stepped out wearing what appeared to be a daring snakeskin backless top, only for fans to later discover that the piece was, in fact, a temporary tattoo applied to her skin. She debuted the look while attending the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris. Social media reacted as the unconventional outfit showed how body art can be used in fashion
It went viral on Instagram and was discussed across social media. At first glance, it appeared to be a fitted mock neck shirt with snakeskin pattern textures and zipper details. However, designer Simon Carle revealed that the piece was created using temporary tattoo sheets.

According to Carle, the tattoo was designed as a single-use fashion piece meant to peel away like a snake shedding its skin, fitting the reptile theme behind the look.
Tyla wore the outfit during Paris Fashion Week. The singer paired the tattoo top with ultra low-rise jeans, and a snakeskin patterned handbag.

Temporary tattoos have appeared in fashion before, but rarely as the main garment itself. By turning body art into clothing, Tyla and Carle created a wearable fashion piece. The concept shows a growing trend in celebrity fashion where artists explore unconventional materials to create memorable moments.
The temporary tattoo top highlights how fashion is evolving. This single Instagram post by Tyla has sparked discussions about creativity and the future of fashion design. The snakeskin “top” shows fashion can be innovative without traditional fabrics.
