Paris Hilton Brings Back Vivienne Westwood’s Most Famous Platforms at Paris Fashion Week
On Saturday, Paris Hilton delivered a bit of fashion history to Paris Fashion Week by wearing a pair of Vivienne Westwood platforms inspired by the brand’s renowned 1993 Super-Elevated designs. Built on a substantial block platform with a steeply arched sole, the shoes had the sculptural height and corseted lacing that once made Westwood’s Gillies a runway icon.
The mix of cream and ice-gray suede and leather in Hilton’s design lent her voluminous green gown a vintage silhouette, while the cutout panels, crisscross ties, and wraparound platform brought back the dramatic elevation that defined Westwood’s provocative legacy.

The drama didn’t end with her shoe, it was present in her feather-trimmed, lavender-and-green gown, which was made on a panniered skirt. A diamond collar, white gloves, and cat-eye glasses connected it to Westwood’s distinctive blend of punk edge and couture polish.
Throughout her career, Hilton, who has always favoured maximalist statements, has returned to Westwood’s style, from platform-heavy performance outfits to corseted shapes on the red carpet. Her return to the brand in Paris comes after a summer filled with equally daring shoe moments, such as Gianvito Rossi’s fitting suede boots at Tribeca and rhinestone Stuart Weitzman thigh-highs at WeHo Pride.

The reference point was clear. In 1993, Naomi Campbell’s iconic fall during Westwood’s runway show made the Super-Elevated Gillies a symbol of fashion bravery. Campbell later joked that the nine-inch heels “tested her balance and pride,” and Westwood famously described the stumble as “beautiful, like a gazelle.” The occasion helped to solidify the British designer’s reputation for challenging convention and reinventing femininity via danger.
Hilton’s public character has always combined self-parody and elegance, so the nod feels deliberate, a link between two generations of women who mastered spectacle on their own terms. Whereas Campbell’s moment caught the danger of fashion, Hilton’s reinterpretation embraces its longevity, the notion that style history can be humorous, self-aware, and towering in every way.

Gigi Hadid’s New Matte Black Bob Sets the Tone for 2026 Style
Gigi Hadid is known for experimenting with various hair colors while staying within familiar territory; honey blonde, platinum, and brunette. Now, she’s switching things up with her darkest hair color yet. Along with her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, the model styled a matte black bob, predicted to be among 2026’s trendy hairstyles.
The new hairstyle was revealed in an Instagram post shared by Giannetos on January 8. In the images, Hadid is seen wearing a jet-black bob or what the stylist called a “matte black mini bob”, with a silky, shiny finish. It appeared the look may have been created for a Maybelline shoot, it’s still unclear whether the change is permanent.

The bob had flipped-out ends and a deep side part, styled close to the face. Giannetos told Allure that he called the color “matte black” because it doesn’t have any red undertones. He described the look as chic, modern and new, noting that it can be worn tucked neatly behind the ears or with some pieces left to frame the face.

Hadid was last seen wearing her signature blonde shade in December, when she was photographed on the set of a Super Bowl commercial in New York City. The last time she switched her appearance was in early 2025, when she showed up with a silver-sheened bob at the Le Grand Dîner du Louvre event.

With Bella Hadid also changing her hair after years of dark brunette hair, it seems both sisters are embracing a new look. Known for sticking to particular beauty lanes, the siblings appear to be more open to experimenting this year. Whether permanent or not, Gigi’s matte black bob feels like a great way to start 2026.

Hailey Bieber Heads to Anastasia Beverly Hills in Clean Monochrome
Hailey Bieber was spotted in Beverly Hills stepping out for an appointment at Anastasia Beverly Hills, showing a carefully considered winter look that balanced comfort with luxury. She wore a textured high-neck coat in black paired with flared velvet pants and leather stiletto boots.

Accessories were minimal yet strong: rectangular sunglasses, a large Saint Laurent hobo bag, and gold hoop earrings complemented the look, while her hair was pulled back neatly, keeping the focus on the structure and materials of her clothing. The monochrome shade allowed texture and shape to highlight the outfit, showing Bieber’s signature simple style.
Seen on the streets of Beverly Hills, the look bridged high fashion and everyday wear, showing how considered casual wear can carry a daytime look without appearing formal or stiff. As a Saint Laurent ambassador and founder of her beauty brand, Rhode, Bieber’s choices signal an ongoing discussion between her professional commitments and street-level fashion sensibility.

Sophie Turner Joins the Trench Coat Trend With a Khaite Trench
Sophie Turner was photographed in New York City following a CBS interview, stepping into the winter cold in a sharply cut black coat from Khaite. The outerwear piece, identified as the brand’s Donna Coat, stood out for its long, uninterrupted line, double-breasted fastening, and epaulettes that reference classic military tailoring. Reaching close to the ankle, the coat immediately set the tone for the appearance, defining the rest of her outfit.

She paired the coat with pointed black pumps and carried an oxblood leather clutch, also by Khaite, introducing contrast and still retaining the attention on the coat itself. The colour combination stayed within a controlled palette, allowing texture and proportion to do the work.
While often discussed alongside the trench coat trend currently visible across celebrity street style, the Donna Coat occupies a slightly different space. Its structure and weight place it closer to tailored outerwear than traditional trench silhouettes, offering a sharper interpretation of longline coats suited to colder months.

The New York setting played its part. Seen between professional commitments rather than staged appearances, Turner’s choice of coat felt appropriate for the pace and practicality of the city, balancing functionality with a clear point of view. Khaite’s emphasis on clean construction and durable materials came through in the coat’s presence, showing the label’s reputation for pieces designed to last beyond a single season.
Worn during a routine press stop, the coat showed how a single, well-made garment can carry an entire outfit without excess an approach that continues to shape contemporary celebrity dressing.
