Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were photographed in New York City on April 30, 2026 during a rare joint public outing. The twin sisters, who have maintained a private lifestyle in recent years, were seen on their way to lunch with a friend just days before the 2026 Met Gala.

Their appearance was one of their rare public appearances together in recent months, renewing interest in both their personal style and their continued influence on luxury fashion through their label, The Row.

The timing, before the Met Gala, was noted particularly given the sisters’ previous appearances at the Met Gala. Their most recent joint appearance at the Met Gala was in 2019.
