All the Best Dressed Celebrities at the 2026 Met Gala

The 2026 Met Gala took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, coinciding with the opening of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition titled Costume Art. The official dress code was “Fashion Is Art”.

The exhibition focused on the relationship between clothing and the human body. It presented garments in relation to sculpture, painting, and other visual art forms.
The dress code was intended to guide interpretations that draw from art history, sculpture, and visual culture.
The event is a fundraising gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
Co-chairs for the 2026 edition were Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour.
The guest list included public figures from film, music, fashion, and sports.
