Lights, camera, couture, “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is officially turning Fashion Month into its personal runway. From Milan to Paris, the sequel’s cast has been making waves, blurring the lines between film fantasy and high fashion reality.

In Milan, the moment that fashion obsessives couldn’t stop talking about took place on September 27.Meryl Streep slipped back into her icy persona as Miranda Priestly, seated front row at Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2026 show. Alongside her was Stanley Tucci as Nigel and Simone Ashley also made a notable appearance.  Streep, dressed in Priestly’s signature cat-eye glasses and a glossy trench coat, sat across from none other than Anna Wintour, the Vogue icon whom Priestly is believed to be based on.

The action didn’t stop there. As Paris Fashion Week kicked off, Anne Hathaway  (returning as Andy Sachs) and Simone Ashley the newly added cast, made their own appearance in the City of Light. The pair reunited at the Balenciaga show, greeting each other with squeals and hugs before taking their seats.  Their contrasting styles, one bold, one subtly chic, showed their on-screen personas and reminded everyone “The Devil Wears Prada” isn’t just a movie about fashion, it lives in it.

These appearances are more than just media moments, they’re a declaration. The cast is staking a claim in fashion circles, signaling this sequel won’t just lean on nostalgia, it will lean into the glamour and grit of the industry. With original leads returning and new faces joining the fold, expectations are high.  If Milan showed us that Priestly still rules the front row, Paris proved her legacy is ready to evolve, gracefully and on her own terms.
