The 2026 BET Awards brought together a mix of A-list names from across music, film, and entertainment to celebrate Black culture at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with Druski hosting the night. The event featured several standout moments on stage, including Teyana Taylor receiving the Icon of the Year Award from Janet Jackson, as well as other major honorary recognitions like Sylvia Rhone receiving the Ultimate Icon Award and Lauryn Hill being honored with the Living Legend Icon Award.

But before all the big wins of the night fully unfolded, one of the major things to look out for was the red carpet. Sheer, corseted and revealing fashion trends were seen on multiple celebrities, each styled in distinct ways.

Keke Palmer followed in a  black Gucci gown featuring a one-shoulder neckline, a thigh-high slit, a dramatic open-back design, and silver crystal embellishments. Latto also partook in the trend in a black sheer corset gown. Chloe Bailey added a different angle to it, stepping out in a strapless Valdrin Sahiti gown with a blonde hairstyle that carried a soft Marilyn Monroe-inspired feel.
