Ray J was taken to a hospital after experiencing a medical emergency during a livestream in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 1.

The 45-year-old singer and television personality was broadcasting from Fab Factory when he began experiencing health problems, prompting people at the studio to call the fire department and an ambulance. According to TMZ, sources described the incident as involving heart-related issues, although no specific diagnosis has been publicly confirmed. The outlet also reported that the emergency response was strictly medical, with sources saying there was nothing unusual or suspicious about what happened.

The medical emergency occurred while Ray J was taking part in “Rayhab,” a 180-day livestreaming project. He had been staying awake for extended periods while participating in the streaming marathon, although there has been no confirmation that the schedule caused the latest health episode.

The hospitalization comes after other health-related incidents involving Ray J this year. In January, he was hospitalized in Las Vegas with pneumonia and heart pain. He later spoke publicly about his heart condition and said his health was not okay.
