Paris Jackson Reveals She Has a Hole Inside Her Nose After Years of Drug Abuse
Paris Jackson revealed a nasal injury from past drug use, sharing that she has a hole in her nose. Michael Jackson’s daughter recently posted a TikTok video on Monday, November 10. She admitted she had never addressed this before, and shone a flashlight up her nose to show the perforated septum.
The condition, which results in a hole in the tissue separating the nostrils, can occur after long-term drug use. “I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose, that is because I have what is called a perforated septum, slightly different from a deviated septum and that is from what you think it’s from,” she said.

Jackson explained that her past substance abuse left her with permanent damage and it’s something she’d have to live with, and she has no plans for surgery to fix it. Her reason was that the procedure would require medications, which she prefers to avoid as she approaches six years of sobriety.
Paris added that she has learned to live with the condition since her early twenties, even though it sometimes causes discomfort, especially in the studio. She warned her fans not to do drugs, explaining how it affected her health and career.

Since getting sober, Jackson has spoken openly about her past struggles with heroin and alcohol addiction. “I didn’t just get my life back, I got a better one,” she said recently at the 35th annual Friendly House Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles on October 11, where she was awarded the Shining Star Award. Friendly House is a rehabilitation facility that supports women dealing with addiction and trauma. The 27-year-old described sobriety as “getting into a car accident because everything I shoved in the back seat moved forward on impact and today I’m learning to navigate life on life’s terms.”

During her speech, the singer also said she’s grateful to be part of a community that supports her recovery and personal growth. Adding that helping others stay connected has been one of the greatest action she’s ever done, and she prays to keep doing so.
Paris Jackson’s honesty about her past and her ongoing recovery shows how far she has come and how openness is part of the healing process.
