The 41st Film Independent Spirit Awards took place on February 15, 2026, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, recognizing independent films from 2025. Hosted by comedian Ego Nwodim, the ceremony brought together a mix of established talent and emerging stars, featuring both established and emerging filmmakers.

Rose Byrne received Best Lead Performance for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Television categories highlighted the impact of streaming, with Netflix’s Adolescence securing multiple honors. The awards showed the growing interplay between independent and mainstream content.

Aside from the awards themselves, the night reflected the camaraderie within the indie film community the combination of emerging talent, established actors, and creative director.
