Kylie Jenner Lands Her First Acting Role
Kylie Jenner is set to star in Bachelorette Weekend, a new Hulu thriller that marks her first major scripted acting role. Jenner will play a bride whose bachelorette trip ends with her character being found murdered in a swimming pool. She will also executive produce the project alongside her sister, Kim Kardashian.
The series follows a group of women after the bride’s death, with her friends becoming suspects as the story examines what happened before the murder. Jenner’s character has been described as the series’ “North Star,” with her death setting the mystery in motion.

Bachelorette Weekend was created and written by Lauren Oliver and is based on an unpublished novel by Flora Collins. Kapital Entertainment is producing the project, with Jenner, Kardashian, Oliver and Aaron Kaplan among the executive producers. The series is nearing a series order at Hulu, but filming has not yet begun, and no release date has been announced.
The Hulu project follows Jenner’s acting debut in Charli XCX’s satirical film The Moment earlier this year. Jenner appeared as an exaggerated version of herself in the film, which marked her first acting experience.
Jenner has said she initially suggested the idea of appearing in The Moment to director Aidan Zamiri. She later expressed interest in taking on more acting roles, making Bachelorette Weekend a significant step into a fictional character rather than another appearance as herself.

Unlike The Moment, Jenner will play a fictional character in the Hulu thriller. Her role also puts her on the same production team as Kardashian, who is serving as an executive producer on the project.
In Bachelorette Weekend, Jenner’s character dies at the center of the story, leaving the women around her to face questions about what happened. The project will give Jenner her first substantial scripted role as she expands beyond reality television and her business ventures.
