KhloĂ© Kardashian is expanding the Kardashian television universe with a new Hulu reality series centred on her closest friends rather than her famous family. “The Girls” premieres August 21, 2026, with all six episodes of the first season dropping at once. The series will also be available via the Hulu and Disney+ bundle in the U.S. and on Disney+ in select international markets.

Produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, a division of Banijay Americas, The show centres on Kardashian’s inner circle. KhloĂ© serves as executive producer alongside Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, Nicole Blais, and Lauren Goldstein. The cast includes Natalie Halcro, Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson, and Nicole Williams English, women who have appeared around the franchise for years, but who now carry the story themselves.

According to the official synopsis, “The Girls” follows the group through career launches, family decisions, girls’ trips, and the everyday work of balancing business with motherhood and marriage. The through-line is friendship, and specifically what happens when a shared connection to one person puts a group of women in the same room.

That tension is front and center in the first trailer. “The bonds I have with my girls are unbreakable,” KhloĂ© says. “But what about their bonds with each other? It’s going to be a little cliquey without meaning to be. Just because they’re all our besties doesn’t mean they’re all best friends with each other.”

It’s a candid setup, and it distinguishes the series from the family-driven format that made “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” a decade-long fixture. Several cast members have long histories on camera. Malika and Khadijah Haqq have been close to KhloĂ© for more than 20 years. Halcro and Pierson first appeared on “KUWTK” before pursuing their own projects. Williams English has maintained ties to the family, and Palmer entered the orbit through Kylie Jenner before building her own beauty brand.

For Hulu, the launch continues a strategy of expanding the Kardashian-Jenner brand without always putting the family at the center. For KhloĂ©, it’s a producer credit that lets her shape the narrative around the women she’s grown up with in the industry.

“The Girls” arrives at a time when reality television is moving toward tighter casts and more specific premises. By focusing on a friend group rather than a family tree, the series tests whether that audience will follow the orbit, not just the core. With a full-season drop on August 21, viewers will get the answer all at once.
