Netflix has released the first-look photos from Emily in Paris Season 6, giving viewers their first glimpse of Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper in the final season of the series. The new images show Emily and Gabriel together in Greece, alongside returning characters including Mindy, Alfie, Sylvie and Princess Jane.

The sixth season will be the final season of Emily in Paris and will premiere on Netflix on December 24, 2026. The story will move between Greece, Monaco and Paris as Emily faces new developments in her career and relationships.

The first-look photos confirm that Emily accepts Gabriel’s invitation to Greece.

At the end of Season 5, Emily returned to Paris after ending her relationship with Marcello. Gabriel, meanwhile, had taken a job as a chef aboard a billionaire’s yacht and had several weeks off in Greece. After learning that Emily was single, he sent her a postcard inviting her to join him.

The new photos show Emily and Gabriel together in Greece, including images of the pair exploring the location. Their reunion follows years of an on-again, off-again relationship.

Season 5 began with Gabriel travelling to Rome to tell Emily that he still had feelings for her. He ultimately backed away after seeing how happy she appeared with Marcello. By the end of the season, Emily was single again, giving Gabriel another opportunity to reconnect with her.

The first look confirms their reunion, but it does not reveal whether Emily and Gabriel will ultimately become a couple.

Emily’s Relationship With Marcello Is Over

Emily and Marcello’s relationship ended in Season 5 after she moved to Rome for work and became involved with the Italian cashmere heir.

Their relationship faced problems as Emily tried to balance her feelings for Marcello with her career. Marcello wanted Emily to become part of the future he was building around his family’s business, but Emily ultimately decided that was not the life she wanted.

She returned to Paris after the breakup, leaving her personal and professional future open as the series moved into its final season.

Lily Collins has said she appreciated that Emily was able to make the decision for herself. The relationship was meaningful to Emily, but she recognised that the future Marcello wanted was not right for her at that point in her life.

That decision leaves Emily single at the beginning of Season 6 and sets up her reunion with Gabriel in Greece.

Mindy Faces Another Relationship Decision

Mindy Chen also enters the final season with an unresolved romantic situation.

At the end of Season 5, Mindy became engaged to Nicolas de Léon after the two reconciled. Nicolas proposed in Venice, and Mindy accepted.

Alfie, however, still had feelings for Mindy. After learning about the engagement, he told her that accepting Nicolas’ proposal was a mistake.

The first-look images show both Mindy and Alfie returning for Season 6, leaving their relationship among the questions that remain open.

Ashley Park returns as Mindy, with Lucien Laviscount reprising his role as Alfie and Paul Forman returning as Nicolas.

Emily’s Career Is Still Part of the Story

Emily’s professional life remains closely connected to the decisions she faces in the final season.

Season 5 moved her career to Rome, where she was tasked with launching an Agence Grateau office. Her work there became increasingly connected to Marcello and his family’s cashmere business before their personal and professional relationship came to an end.

Emily is now back in Paris and continuing her work with Agence Grateau.

The official Season 6 description indicates that unexpected developments in Emily’s career and relationships will force her to reconsider what she wants from her future. Her final season will therefore deal with more than her romantic life, with Emily facing choices involving her career and the life she has built in Paris.

Season 6 Takes Emily to Greece and Monaco

Although Paris remains Emily’s home base, the final season will take the story to new European locations.

Greece is an important setting in Season 6, with the new images showing Emily and Gabriel together there. The production also filmed in Monaco before returning to Paris.

The move follows the show’s expansion into Italy during Season 5, when Emily spent much of the story between Paris and Rome before travelling to Venice for Marcello’s fashion presentation.

For Season 6, Greece is directly connected to Gabriel’s storyline and the invitation he sends Emily at the end of Season 5.

Darren Star, the series creator, has said that the final season would continue the show’s European travel while allowing the locations to develop from the story.

The Final Season

Season 6 will bring Emily Cooper’s story to an end after six seasons.

Since the series premiered in 2020, Emily’s career and personal life have developed alongside her friendships and relationships in Paris and beyond. Season 5 expanded her story into Italy, while the final season brings her back to Paris and takes her to Greece and Monaco.

The new images confirm that Gabriel will be part of Emily’s final chapter and that Mindy’s relationship with Nicolas and Alfie remains unresolved. Emily will also have to navigate changes in her career as she decides what she wants from her future.
