Coachella 2027: SZA, Tame Impala, Dua Lipa Reportedly Set to Perform
Coachella 2027 could feature SZA, Dua Lipa and Tame Impala as its headline performers, according to reports emerging ahead of the festival’s official line-up announcement. The three artists are reportedly being considered for the event’s top billing, bringing together R&B, pop and alternative music.
Reports from September 2026 indicated that Tame Impala and Dua Lipa had secured two of the festival’s three headline positions. On 30 October, further reports suggested that SZA had been confirmed for the remaining slot, citing industry sources. However, Coachella organisers have not officially announced the 2027 performers, so the reported bookings remain unconfirmed.

SZA’s reported inclusion follows her appearance at Coachella 2026, where she joined Justin Bieber on stage to perform ‘Snooze’. The singer, whose full name is Solána Imani Rowe, has become a prominent figure in contemporary R&B through albums including Ctrl and SOS. Released in 2022, SOS produced several successful singles, including ‘Kill Bill’, ‘Snooze’ and ‘Nobody Gets Me’. Its expanded edition, Lana, released in 2024, added further material to her catalogue.
She also toured with Kendrick Lamar on the Grand National Tour in 2025, performing to stadium audiences across North America and other international locations. A headline performance at Coachella would give SZA the opportunity to present a full set at the festival after her guest appearance earlier in the year.

For Dua Lipa, the reported booking would mark a significant moment in her relationship with Coachella. She previously appeared as a guest during Martin Garrix’s performance at the festival in 2017 but has yet to headline the event.
The British-Albanian singer has released three studio albums: Dua Lipa, Future Nostalgia and Radical Optimism. Her catalogue includes ‘New Rules’, ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Levitating’ and ‘Houdini’, songs that have helped establish her position in international pop music. She also collaborated with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker on ‘Houdini’, released in 2023, giving the two reported headliners an existing musical connection.

Tame Impala, the musical project led by Australian musician Kevin Parker, has a longer history with Coachella. The project first performed at the festival in 2011, returning in 2013 and 2015 before taking the headline position in 2019.
Parker has since continued to develop Tame Impala’s sound, incorporating more electronic and dance influences alongside its psychedelic rock foundations. The project’s fifth studio album, Deadbeat, released in 2025, continued this direction. Tracks including ‘Dracula’ and ‘Loser’ have also added to its more recent catalogue.
A second headline appearance would bring Parker back to the festival several years after his 2019 performance. His reported return also comes as Tame Impala continues to attract listeners across alternative rock, electronic and pop audiences.

The wider Coachella 2027 line-up has also attracted speculation. Fred Again.. was mentioned in reports as a possible performer in the festival’s special Returning to the Desert slot. BTS, Oasis and Radiohead were also discussed as potential bookings, although later reports suggested they were no longer expected to headline. Miley Cyrus was reportedly approached but declined an offer. These names have not been confirmed by the festival.
Coachella 2027 is scheduled to take place from 9 to 11 April and 16 to 18 April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The festival traditionally runs across two consecutive weekends, with performers appearing across both. Reports also indicated that advance tickets sold out in May, months before the expected announcement of the line-up.
If the reports prove accurate, SZA and Dua Lipa would join Tame Impala as the festival’s three headline acts. The official announcement will establish whether the bookings are correct and reveal which other performers will appear across the two weekends.
